It is the policy of our department to aggressively investigate suspected violations of the law. Officers are strictly prohibited from engaging in biased-based (racial) profiling. Interested parties can view the annual Racial Profiling Report here (PDF). Anyone who believes that a Kennedale officer has engaged in racial profiling with respect to any person (including themselves) is urged to file a complaint. Complaints must be submitted in writing to the Chief of Police or his designee and must include:
Time of alleged profiling
Location of alleged profiling
Details of the incident
Identity or description of the officer(s) involved
Identity, address, and telephone number of the complaining party
The complaining party shall receive notice of the disposition of the complaint within a reasonable period of time.
