Annual Calendar Year Consumption
House Bill 3693 (Government Code §22641 (b)), which was passed by the Texas Legislature in 2007, requires governmental entities to publish consumption and payment information for various utility services used. In order to comply with this requirement, the following consumption information is being provided for the City of Kennedale in regards to its own usage:

The City of Kennedale purchases its electricity from Gexa Energy. In an effort to raise awareness about electricity prices, and their impact on Texas communities and residents, please reference the Cities Aggregation Power Project (CAPP). As a CAPP member, the City of Kennedale, along with all other participating members, has collectively saved more than $100 million off electricity prices over the past few years. This savings frees up additional funds for all member cities to use in meeting other needs. The City of Kennedale purchases its natural gas from Atmos Energy.
The City of Kennedale is a municipal water provider; therefore, it provides water to itself.
