Donation to a City Program
"We only have what we give."
– ISABEL ALLENDE
I believe you'll find in each of us a motivation to effect positive change in our communities and the lives of those around us. However, we're often left with little free time or energy. If you'd like to support a community project, but can't find the time to volunteer right now, please consider making a donation. You may think that the amount you're able to give won't make a difference, but that's simply not true. An ocean is formed by millions of tiny drops, and the following programs have been made possible year after year by pooling the donations (some small and some large) made by citizens just like you.
Projects and Activities
Enhance the quality of life available in Kennedale by keeping these activities alive and well for generations to come:
Bark in the Park
This event supports animal care and protection in our community. It offers free pet registration, and the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) offers low-cost vaccines.
Fire, Library, and/or Police Services
Proceeds assist these departments in funding special events and needs that are typically not addressed within the general operating budget.
This annual outreach program takes place in the spring and is designed to educate and allow for hands-on fishing experiences for children 16 years of age and younger.
Keep Kennedale Beautiful (KKB) Committee
An affiliate program of Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB), which sponsors and coordinates education and cleanup programs in cooperation with various agencies.
Kennedale Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
A dedicated group of young leaders who take initiatives directed toward effective change that benefits local youth and provides positive community impact through organized participation in various city-sponsored activities and events.
Kennedale Theatre in the Park
Support this local theatre group that performs in TownCenter Park.
