Donation to a City Program

"We only have what we give."

I believe you'll find in each of us a motivation to effect positive change in our communities and the lives of those around us. However, we're often left with little free time or energy. If you'd like support a community project, but can't find the time to volunteer right now, please consider making a donation.

You may think that the amount you're able to give won't make a difference, but that's simply not true. An ocean is formed by millions of tiny drops, and the following programs have been made possible year after year by pooling the donations (some small and some large) made by citizens just like you.

Projects & Activities

Enhance the quality of life available in Kennedale by keeping these activities alive and well for generations to come:

Bark in the Park

Each Spring, the city hosts this free family event at Sonora Park with a goal of supporting animal care and protection in our community. We offer free pet registration, and the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) offers low-cost vaccines. Proceeds support animals rescued by our Animal Control Services.

Fire, Library and/or Police Services

Proceeds assist these departments in funding special events and needs that are typically not addressed within the general operating budget.

This annual outreach program takes place in the spring and is designed to educate and allow for hands-on fishing experiences for children 16 years of age and younger.

Kathy Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund

Awarded annually to a graduating senior from the City of Kennedale or Kennedale Independent School District, who desires to attend college to pursue a degree in governmental affairs or international development.

Keep Kennedale Beautiful (KKB) Committee

An affiliate program of Keep Texas Beautiful (KKB), which sponsors and coordinates education and cleanup programs in cooperation with various agencies.

Brickworks Festival (formerly Art In The Park)

A free three day event held in the Kennedale TownCenter.

Kennedale Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
