6/1 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation1200 block of W. Kennedale ParkwayAt 9:34 p.m. officers responded to an investigation request. A male had entered a public restroom at a business and had cut himself. After speaking with the male the officers determined he was having a mental health crisis. The male was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation after being treated for the cut by paramedics.
6/2 — Harassment600 block of Oak Ridge TrailAt 2:20 p.m. an officer received a telephone harassment report. An adult female has been receiving unwanted threatening text messages from another phone located in Dallas County. An investigation has been opened and is in progress.
6/2 — Incident (Other)1100 block of Fawn Meadow TrailAt 2:52 a.m. officers responded to a request from a Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force investigator. The investigator requested that officers check a location to confirm that property had been stolen. The officers arrived and observed a vehicle leaving the scene and the property missing. The vehicle eluded officers and fled. The vehicle, driver, and property were located shortly after at address in Azle. The missing property was recovered as well as property from a number of other vehicle burglary cases in Tarrant County. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
6/3 — Burglary of Vehicle1100 block of Greenview LaneAt 7:32 a.m. an officer received a vehicle burglary report. Unknown person(s) had entered a vehicle and removed sunglasses and a wallet. Having been briefed on the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force arrest during the previous shift, the officer contacted the Kennedale investigator assigned to the task force to inquire about the missing property. Part of the property was located but not all. Investigators had not finished going through all of the recovered property.
6/6 — Drugs/Narcotics700 block of W. Kennedale ParkwayAt 9:18 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview the driver was determined to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
6/6 — Assault by Contact - Family1200 block of Cross Creek DriveAt 2:03 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A mother and her adult son had been in a verbal argument. The mother was found to have physically assaulted the son. She was arrested for the assault and transported to jail for booking.
6/2 — Criminal Mischief $2,500 to $30,000700 block of W. Kennedale ParkwayAt 8:46 a.m. a victim reported that a semi-tractor that he had contracted to work on was damaged while at his shop. Unknown person(s) placed a foreign substance into the fuel tanks causing fuel system and engine damage.
6/6 — Sexual Assault of Child200 block of Chateau AvenueAt 10:11 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. While investigating the call, an adult female made an outcry of sexual assault by a family member. The assaults occurred while the female was a child. The case is under further investigation.
