Paint, Paper, and Plugs at City Hall

405 Municipal Drive from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.


Proof of residency is required (water bill or drivers license). Only household residential items will be accepted. No commercial waste or trailers allowed. Please come early, as the event will end when the containers are full.

PAINT, CHEMICALS, AND GREASE (Fort Worth Crud Cruiser)

  • paint, painting supplies, used cooking oil, batteries, and light bulbs
  • automotive fluids including antifreeze and used oil
  • chemicals including cleaners, insecticides, and lawn or pool treatments
PAPER (Action Shred)
  • personal or home office documents (staples are okay)
  • magazines, mail, and envelopes (but not newspapers)
ELECTRONICS (DFW Reclaimers)
  • computers*+, printers, keyboards, and wall chargers
  • kitchen electronics, televisions+, and game consoles
  • speakers and entertainment equipment
* You are responsible for destroying data on hard drives & other digital storage
+ A disposal fee (based on size) applies for tube televisions & CRT monitors

DO NOT BRING
  • ammunition, explosives, smoke detectors, butane/propane cylinders
  • trailers; commercial/medical chemicals and/or waste
  • Freon appliances (refrigerators, freezers, window units)
  • Hazardous/regulated materials (asbestos, PCB transformers/caulking, lead-based paint, mercury thermostats/switches, radioactive sources)
