The Board of Adjustment hears resident requested appeals of decisions made by the city staff in their interpretation of the city’s planning and zoning ordinances.
The Building Board of Appeals Hears appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the building official in their application interpretation of the technical provisions of the various building codes adopted by the city, and demolition of sub-standard structures.
Members serve on both boards.

The Utility and Infrastructure Board advises and formulates recommendations to Council regarding policies, projects, and other matters pertaining to the water and wastewater system, the storm water utility system, the streets and transportation system, and the solid waste collection system.

A fun after-school LEGO building club geared towards elementary-aged kiddos. Kiddos can practice their STEM skills by completing a different LEGO challenge each week. Thursday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m., the Kennedale Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Forum at the KHS Performing Arts Center (901 Wildcat Way). This is not a debate, but an opportunity for voters to hear from the candidates directly and gain insight as to where they stand on issues important to the future of Kennedale. Members of the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County will moderate.
