YAC is assigned with identifying areas for community and policy improvement related to youth, including the development of programs and services that empower, support, and inform youth, create a family-friendly community, enable and encourage youth to be productive members of the community, and that bridge the generational gap and elevate youth interest and participation in local government. In order to achieve these goals, YAC members plan events, build partnerships, and carries out directives from Council and staff.

KKB engages residents and businesses to take greater responsibility for improving the community’s appearance and environment. They also develop and coordinate beautification-related programming, outreach, and events, and serve as the Tree Advisory Board and the Tree City USA liaison.

The Work Session normally begins at 5:30, but will begin at 6:30 p.m. this month, following a reception for incoming and outgoing Council members at 5:30 p.m., and a Special Meeting for the canvassing of election returns at 6:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public, and we invite you to attend.

Court is held once per month on the fourth Wednesday beginning at 1:30PM. Dockets include Juvenile First Appearance and Revocation Hearings, Adult First Appearance Hearings, Attorney Plea Dockets, Pre-Trial Hearings, Bond Hearings, Civil Property Hearings and Scire Facias Bond Forfeiture Hearings and Bench and Jury Trials. All jury trials will be held at 9:00AM, but only on an as needed basis
