    This is a Regular Meeting of the EDC. It was moved from the usual date of Tuesday, November 26, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

    The EDC is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan that includes industrial, retail, tourism, and commercial development in the City of Kennedale.

    Regular meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Denny's located at the corner of Sublett and Highway 287. These meetings are open to the public.


    Senior Outreach of Kennedale is a private organization that is not affiliated with the City of Kennedale or the Kennedale Senior Center. Please contact the organizer via Facebook for more information.

  2. Scouts BSA Troop 35 Flag Retirement Ceremony

    November 18, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Sonora Park

    Due to the possibility of high winds and inclement weather, this event has been moved to Monday, November 18.

    Join Kenndale’s Troop and Pack 35 along with Mansfield’s Pack 788 on Veterans Day, as we respectfully retire the symbol of our nation. Please feel free to bring chairs and blankets. Veterans and first responders are especially welcomed to attend and participate in the ceremony. If you have flags in need of retirement, feel free to bring them to the ceremony, drop them off at the Boy Scout Hut at the corner of Spiller and Broadway (210 W Broadway in Kennedale), or call Lamar Saxon at 817-412-8981 for pickup.
