This is a Regular Meeting of the City Council.

During this meeting, the City Council will consider approval of agreements with the City of Arlington for water purchase and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of Kennedale's water and wastewater utility systems.

These contracts, in development since November 2017, are being recommended for City Council approval by the Utility and Infrastructure Board (UIB) as well as by staff. The Arlington City Council is expected to also consider approval on March 19, with a second reading on Tuesday, March 26. If approved by both Councils, these agreements would become effective on Friday, March 29, 2019.

Residents or any interested parties are invited to attend this meeting, where there will be an opportunity for public input before the City Council considers approval. A presentation of the highlights of each of these contracts will be given as well.
