  1. First Day to File for a Place on the Ballot (May 2, 2020 Election)

    January 15, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ City Hall (Municipal Building)

    Mayor and City Council Places 2 and 4 are elected in May of even-numbered years. The full candidate packet will be available online (as a PDF) at; and in the City Secretary's Office (printed), no later than Wednesday, January 15, 2020, which is the first day to file for a place on the ballot. The deadline to file is Friday, February 14, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. However, we do urge you to file as soon as possible. There is no filing fee.
