TownCenter Park is located between City Hall and the Kennedale Public Library. Parking is available in the TownCenter shopping area, at the Library, or behind City Hall. The park has a play area with a swing set, baby swings, a merry-go-round, a multilevel play structure, and bouncy race cars. There is also a pavilion, picnic tables, a grassy area, and a walking path. The walking path is 850 feet, which is about a 1/6 of a mile.
For information about reserving the pavilion, please click here or stop by the Library (316 W Third Street). When you reserve the pavilion for a private event, the rest of the park remains open to the public. Thank you for understanding.
NOTICE: PLAYGROUND CLOSED
Beginning Thursday, April 2, 2020, all City of Kennedale playgrounds will be closed until further notice in ongoing efforts to minimize the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community.
The parks themselves – including trails, basketball courts, fishing dock, pavilions, and the disc golf half-course – will remain open, but play structures and swings will be marked as not for use at this time. Staff will continue to evaluate the safety of public access to these amenities, as it may become necessary to close them as well. We will keep you updated.
When using the available areas of the parks, you are reminded to practice social distancing, to refrain from playing any contact sport, and to avoid any gathering of more than ten people.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to aim to protect the health and safety of our residents and employees.
