Utility Billing Customer Service Update


Did you hear? Beginning this month, Arlington Water Utilities will be the customer care and billing service provider for City of Kennedale customers. With the transition nearing completion, MuniBilling will no longer be processing your utility payments. Make sure to check your next utility bill for a brochure outlining the new payment options and account features. 

But what if I just sent a payment to MuniBilling? It will be forwarded on your behalf.

My due date is soon! When will Arlington start accepting payments? The transition to Arlington will take a week or two, but no cut-offs or late fees will be assessed during this transition. 

Does this mean we’ll be purchasing water from Arlington now too? Not yet, but we’re working on it!

Anything else I should know?


    Once you have received your first invoice from Arlington Water Utilities (AWU), you can use your new account number to remit payments in one of the following ways:


    Checks should be made out to ‘City of Arlington Utilities’. Please include your bill stub and mail a check or money order to:

         Arlington, TX 76004-3020


    Cash, check, or money order payments and other water inquiries can be made at Kennedale City Hall (405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale) or Arlington Water customer care locations at 101 W. Abram Street and 1100 SW Green Oak Boulevard, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding holidays).


    There is a 24-hour dropbox in the entryway of City Hall (405 Municipal Drive). You are advised against leaving cash in the dropbox.


    Payments can be made online by check or credit card by visiting A convenience fee will be charged for credit/debit card payments. There is no convenience fee for electronic check payments. 


    To make a payment by telephone or for billing questions, call 817-985-2120. A convenience fee applies to telephone payments.
