↣ STARTNG PAY FOR CERTIFIED FIREFIGHTERS/PARAMEDICS IS $60,500!↤ 

STARTING SALARY FOR RECRUIT FIREFIGHTERS (FIREFIGHTER/EMT B or PARAMEDIC only) is $49,500 at time of hire but increases to $60,500 after successfully completing training!

Applicants possessing one of the following sets of credentials are eligible to apply:

• Texas Commission on Fire Protection Certified Firefighter and National Registry or Texas Department of State Health Services Paramedic, or

• National Registry and/or Texas Department of Health Paramedic certification, or

• Texas Commission on Fire Protection Certified Firefighter and National Registry or Texas Department of State Health Services EMT Basic

• If you are selected for an interview, a Personal History Packet will be sent to you

• After successfully completing the Personal History Packet, you will be scheduled for a Panel Interview

• The Physical Agility Test will be offered after the Panel Interview

• NOTE: We will accept a PAT certification from Tarrant County College that is within 6 months of applying)
