Mayor and City Council Places 2 and 4 are elected in May of even-numbered years. The full candidate packet will be available online (as a PDF) at cityofkennedale.com/candidatepacket and in the City Secretary's Office (printed) no later than Wednesday, January 19, which is the first day to file for a place on the ballot. The deadline to file is Friday, February 18, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. There is no filing fee and our staff can provide complimentary notary service for your application if you provide appropriate identification. Please visit cityofkennedale.com/election to learn more about running for local office.
