Tighter Restrictions for Tarrant County in Judge Whitley’s Executive Order (Effective through April 30)

 Stay at home, except for Essential Travel, Essential Services, Essential Activities; to work in or access Essential Businesses, Government Service, or Essential Critical Infrastructure; or to perform Minimum Basic Operations
 In shared or outdoor spaces, maintain Social Distancing and minimize contact with people not in the same household 
 Gatherings *of any number* outside a single household are prohibited
 Non-Essential businesses shall not allow the public on-premises, but may continue Minimum Basic Operations (if meeting the specified requirements)
 Restaurants (and similar) may only provide take out, delivery, curbside, or drive-through; Social Distancing required
 Nursing homes (and similar) are to prohibit non-essential visitors unless to provide critical assistance or end-of-life visitation
 Elective medical, surgical, and dental procedures are prohibited
 If someone in a household tests positive for COVID-19, the household is ordered to isolate, but may seek medical services as needed from medical personnel and facilities
 Any certified peace officer is authorized to enforce this Order; Violators may be subject to a fine of up to $1,000 or up to 180 days in jail

The Declaration, enacted by Mayor Brian Johnson on Tuesday, March 24, states that the City of Kennedale adopts all current and future rules, regulations, and limitations issued by the State of Texas and by Tarrant County (including this Order); and (if those rules conflict) shall recognize the more restrictive.
