1/25 — Tamper with Governmental Record, Evading Arrest or Detention500 block of S. Dick Price RoadAt 2:15 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a suspected domestic disturbance in progress. The female driver and male passenger both gave false names to the officer. The female also presented the officer with a fictitious driver’s license. It was determined that the two had been arguing while driving. The male’s correct identity was determined and he was found to have an active arrest warrant from Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for family violence assault. When advised of the warrant, the male actively resisted officers’ attempt to handcuff him. After handcuffing the suspect officers placed him in a patrol unit. A deputy sheriff arrived and took custody of the male for transport on the arrest warrant. Charges are pending on the female.
1/26 — Burglary of Vehicle100 block of Pine Meadow DriveAt 9:15 a.m. a victim reported that his vehicle was burglarized while parked at his residence.
1/26 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation500 block of North RoadAt 7:20 p.m. officers responded to an intentional overdose call. A female had taken an overdose of several medications but was conscious and coherent. The female was transported to JPS Hospital for medical treatment as well as an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
1/26 — Recovered Stolen Vehicle (Other Agency)6300 block of Treepoint DriveAt 8:26 a.m. an officer responded to an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle, which was partially dismantled, was confirmed as a Fort Worth stolen. The vehicle was impounded.
1/27 — Recovered Stolen Vehicle (Other Agency)1500 block of Gilman RoadAt 4:38 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a vehicle in front of a residence. The vehicle was reported stolen in Johnson County. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle was not actually stolen but was the subject of a debt dispute.
1/27 — Welfare Concern700 block of Paula LaneAt 11:06 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a welfare check. Investigation revealed that a child made an outcry about being abused. CPS was contacted and a case file was opened.
1/28 — Assault (Family Violence) (Impede Breath/Circulation)100 block of Oakwood LaneAt 5:28 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance. A male and female were fighting when the male attempted to choke the female. The male left the scene before officers arrived but was located a short distance away. The male was arrested for family violence.
1/29 — Burglary of Vehicle1200 block of N. Little School RoadAt 4:55 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown female was observed breaking out a window and removing the victim’s purse from the vehicle. The suspect left in another vehicle.
1/31 — Criminal Mischief $100 to $750200 block of Pine Meadow DriveAt 8:25 a.m. a victim reported that unknown suspect(s) broke the rear windshield of her vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.
1/31 — Death Investigation1200 block of Stonehill CourtAt 2:18 p.m. officers responded to a deceased person call. A deceased male was found inside a vehicle. The male appeared to be deceased from a gunshot.
1/31 — Criminal Mischief $2,500 to $30,0006700 block of Oak Crest Drive E.At 6:07 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male suspect had used his vehicle to cause damage to a female’s vehicle during an argument.
1/31 — Theft $750 to $2,5001200 block of N. Little School RoadAt 1:27 p.m. an officer received a report of two stolen phones from a T-Mobile store.
