The filing period for the May 6, 2023 Election is January 18 - February 17:
Qualified electors will be electing the offices of City Council Place 1, City Council Place 3 and City Council Place 5 for the City of Kennedale.
- Rockie Gilley currently serves as Place 1 (since 2022)
- Kenneth Michels currently serves as Place 3 (since 2022)
- James Connor currently serves as Place 5 (since 2021)
The filing period for the May 6, 2023 General Election is 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18 through 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023.
All mandatory forms will be linked on this page, and printed Candidate Packets are available in the City Secretary’s Office in City Hall (405 Municipal Drive). Local candidates, officeholders, and political committees must file campaign finance reports with the City Secretary’s Office.
