- KKB: Keep Kennedale Beautiful
- Adopt-a-Spot Program
Developed by the Keep Kennedale Beautiful (KKB) Commission, Adopt-a-Spot promotes community pride by asking residents to pledge to keep a certain area free of litter for one year (or longer). The program is free and open to:
You are invited to request any location of any size that is within the city limits and not currently adopted. Your 'spot' will be identified with an Adopt-a-Spot sign bearing the name of your choosing*. Preference will be given to those places that appear neglected, but some suggestions include vacant lots, medians, rights-of-way, and roundabouts.
* Please note that all Adopt-A-Spot requests are subject to approval, and KKB reserves the right to prohibit any person and/or group's participation in the program. Once approved, sign changes will only be allowed if the spot is adopted by a new person or group.
KKB would like to thank participants in the Adopt-A-Spot Program for their commitment to keeping Kennedale beautiful. During 2020, volunteers spent 333 hours removing 1428 pounds of debris from local roadways! Thank you to the following individuals, families, and businesses:
