KKB Adopt a Spot Thanks 2020_3site

What is Adopt-a-Spot?

Developed by the Keep Kennedale Beautiful (KKB) Commission, Adopt-a-Spot promotes community pride by asking residents to pledge to keep a certain area free of litter for one year (or longer). The program is free and open to:

  • Residents & Families
  • Businesses
  • Organizations (e.g. clubs, neighborhood associations, student groups, churches)

Is there a list of available spots?

You are invited to request any location of any size that is within the city limits and not currently adopted. Your 'spot' will be identified with an Adopt-a-Spot sign bearing the name of your choosing*. Preference will be given to those places that appear neglected, but some suggestions include vacant lots, medians, rights-of-way, and roundabouts.

Adopt-a-Spot Today!

* Please note that all Adopt-A-Spot requests are subject to approval, and KKB reserves the right to prohibit any person and/or group's participation in the program. Once approved, sign changes will only be allowed if the spot is adopted by a new person or group.
