Building Permit Applications

Permits

Permits are required for new construction, as well as work that changes, moves or repairs walls, floors, ceiling, windows, doors, electrical, mechanical or plumbing.  All permit applications must be emailed to permits@cityofkennedale.com.  

Permits are not required for "cosmetic" remodels (floor or wall covering, cabinets, counter tops, shelving, etc.) or plumbing fixture replacement.

Permits that required plan review typically take about 5 to 10 business days, depending on the scope of the project.
