03/03 - Vehicle Burglary - 300 block of New Hope Road: At 9:58 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a theft. On arrival it was determined that the call was actually a burglary of two work vehicles parked behind a residence. Person(s) unknown had entered the vehicles overnight and removed tools and other items valued at $3,400. The case is under investigation.
03/03 - Theft $50 to $500 - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:03 a.m. an officer responded to a theft report. The victim reported that he had returned home from work to find narcotics paraphernalia in his house and his .44 caliber handgun missing. The victim believes that a possible suspect is a former resident of the house that recently moved out.
03/03 - Aggravated Robbery - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 2:28 p.m. officers were dispatched to a robbery. The 38 year old victim reported that he had been in the parking lot of the T Mobile store to meet someone about buying some computer equipment. The victim reported that three males arrived and got into his vehicle, and then produced a weapon to rob him of his computer equipment and cell phone. The suspects left in a white Envoy and took the victim's car keys with them. A clerk at T Mobile was able to "ping" the phone and get an approximate location in Fort Worth. Fort Worth P.D. was notified of the incident. No further information was available at the time of report.
03/03 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:50 p.m. a 37 year old victim came to the Kennedale Police Department building to report that someone had used his debit card number at a local convenience store for a gas purchase. The victim had no idea who the suspect(s) could be. He still had possession of the card at the time of report.
03/03 - Aggravated Assault (Family Member) - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:25 p.m. officers responded to an assault in progress. The 44 year old victim reported that he got into an argument with his 25 year old girlfriend, who also lives at the residence. The girlfriend obtained a knife and threatened to stab the victim. The girlfriend ran out of the house and then returned, slapping the victim across the face. The female had an outstanding warrant from Mansfield, and was arrested for the warrant and family violence.
03/05 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 10:33 a.m. a 55 year old female victim reported that her debit card number had been used for several gas purchases at a local convenience store. The victim had possession of her card and had no idea how the number was used.
3/05 - Agency Assist - 5800 block of Dick Price: On 03/04/2013 an officer had been contacted by a complainant who stated that his car had been stolen in Arlington by a known 41 year old male suspect. The victim listed several places the suspect might frequent in the Kennedale area. On 03/05/2013 another officer was checking the areas listed when he observed the reported stolen vehicle in a convenience store parking lot. A female was exiting the passenger side of the car and entering the store. Upon contacting the female occupant of the vehicle it was determined that the listed male suspect had been driving the car and was in the store, but left on foot when he saw the Kennedale police unit drive by. The car was recovered for Arlington P.D. and the female was released at the scene. All information was referred to Arlington for further action.
03/06 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 11:48 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim reported that person(s) unknown had entered his work vehicle overnight and removed tools/equipment valued at $1,100. The victim did not hear anything suspicious overnight.
03/07 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 1000 block of Harrison Drive: At 11:08 a.m. an officer took a report of damage and theft at a foreclosed home. Person(s) had damaged windows, doors, and fixtures as well as stolen some other fixtures. Damages are estimated to by $11,800.
03/08 - Criminal Mischief - $500 to $1,500 - 700 block of Crestview: At 5:57 a.m. a victim reported damage to his home and cars, which were parked in the driveway. The victim reported that his vehicles had suffered damage to numerous windows, either by being broken out or being shot with a BB gun. A home window was also shot with a BB gun. No property was missing. The victim believes that a possible suspect is a family member who was upset with the victim over a personal matter.
03/08 - Criminal Mischief - 800 block of Woodland Court: At 7:42 a.m. a victim reported that her Ford truck, which was parked in her driveway, had been damaged overnight. Person(s) unknown appeared to have shot out a window of the truck with a BB gun. Damage was estimated at $180.
03/08 - Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child - 600 block of Ruth Court: At 10:14 a.m. a sexual assault of a child was reported to police. The victim, a 14 year old female, made the report in the company of a family member. The victim stated that she had met a 26 year old male on line last year and had chatted with him. The victim stated that last summer, while she spent the night at a female friend's house, the male and another adult male came to the residence. At some point the males told the victims that they wanted to have sex and both female victims were sexually assaulted. The same male came to the reporting victim's home a few weeks later and again had sex with both females. Evidence existed at the time of report to identify the first suspect and locate a possible address. The case is still under investigation.
03/08 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 7000 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 7:09 p.m. an officer took a recovered stolen vehicle report at a towing company. An abandoned vehicle that had been towed from a location in Kennedale was discovered to be stolen from White Settlement. The White Settlement Police Department was notified.
03/09 - Vehicle Burglary - 200 block of New Hope Road: At 8:14 a.m. an officer responded to numerous complaints of vehicle burglaries. Various items were taken overnight from vehicles located on New Hope Road, Broadway, and 5th Street. A possible suspect has been identified and is under investigation.
03/09 - Animal Bite - 500 block of North Road: At 11:53 a.m. an officer took a dog bite report from a 12 year old male victim. The victim reported that he was playing on his property when a female juvenile walked by with a dog on a leash. The dog lunged at the victim and the female could not hold the dog under control. The victim received a bite to the hip. The animal has been quarantined and Animal Services is handling the investigation.
03/09 - Assault by Contact - 500 block of North Road: At 6:09 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival they met with the victim, a 45 year old female, who told them that her mother-in-law, age unknown, had assaulted her by punching her in the face. The victim reported no injury and the suspect was issued an assault by contact citation.
