03/10 - Fail to Identify (Fugitive) - 1300 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 5:27 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The female driver stated that she had never had a license. She gave a verbal name and date of birth indicating that she was 44 years of age. During the interview the officer found numerous containers of alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. Also located in the vehicle was a black coin purse with a Texas drivers license showing the driver's true name and date of birth. The female stated that she gave a false name and birth date because she had warrants from Kennedale P.D. The warrants were confirmed and she was placed under arrest for all charges. She was transported to municipal jail for booking.
03/11 - Missing Person - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:45 p.m. an officer took a report on a missing 32 year old male. The male's mother stated that she had not spoken to him in over a month and was worried that something may have happened to him. A report was taken.
03/12 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 1000 block of Colonial: At 3:35 p.m. an officer took a report of identity theft. The 44 year old female victim advised that her purse had been stolen in another city. The purse contained her drivers license, credit card, and checkbook. Person(s) unknown were cashing checks on her account at various banks. She had closed the account but needed to file identity theft charges. She was provided with an identity theft packet and case number.
03/12 - Leaving the Scene of an Accident - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:39 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle back out of a parking space at a convenience store and strike another parked vehicle. The first vehicle then drove off of the property and left. The officer stopped the vehicle and returned the driver to the scene. After being tested for intoxication, it was determined that the driver was not under the influence. He had left the scene due to being scared. The driver was arrested for leaving the scene and transported to municipal jail.
03/12 - Burglary of a Vehicle - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 7:52 p.m. an officer took a report of a vehicle burglary. a 56 year old female victim reported that windows on her 2010 Kia and her daughter's 2010 Chevrolet had been broken out and two purses stolen. Witnesses identified a possible suspect, who was not present at the time of the report.
03/13 - Disorderly Conduct (Fighting) - 700 block of Corry A. Edwards: At 8:20 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a disturbance in progress. On arrival the officer contacted two bothers, aged 45 and 31 years, who stated that they had gotten into an argument over rent money. The argument turned physical but neither brother was injured seriously. They were issued citations for the fight and one brother departed the scene.
03/15 - Theft of Materials (under $20,000) - 100 block of Broadway Street: At 3:23 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a theft. Person(s) unknown had entered the storage yard of the property, a business, and removed copper wiring used to connect temporary power poles to a power source. The business owner will provide a video of the theft to detectives. The wiring was valued at $1,300.
