03/24 - DWI - 5700 block of Eden Road: At 3:39 p.m. officers responded to a major accident. The 46 year old operator of a Ford pick-up had reportedly struck a bridge while attempting to avoid an animal in the roadway. The driver was determined to be uninjured but intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Mansfield Municipal Jail for a voluntary blood draw. He was then booked into the Kennedale Municipal Jail.

03/24 - Evading Arrest or Detention (Vehicle) - 800 block of Valley Lane: At 7:53 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation. The driver fled and finally abandoned the vehicle in the creek near Valley Lane, fleeing on foot. Officers were unable to locate the suspect in the nearby wooded area. The motorcycle was impounded and held for further investigation.

03/24 - Demented Person - 200 block of Sulphur Street: At 8:39 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a male threatening to kill someone. The location is a group home for mentally challenged adult men. The officer met with the suspect, a male known to the officer from previous encounters. The suspect stated that he wanted to kill another resident and produced a kitchen knife from his jacket. The male was detained and transported to JPS for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.

03/25 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of Industrial Drive: At 10:35 a.m. an officer responded to a reported theft. The victim showed the officer his 1995 GMC work van, which was parked in a fenced area of the property. Person(s) unknown removed the catalytic converter, valued at $425, from the van's exhaust system. It is unknown how the suspect(s) entered the property to access the van.

03/26 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 4900 block of Little School Road: An officer made a traffic stop on a 2001 Dodge Stratus. The driver, a 21 year old female, was nervous and the officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, the officer located paraphernalia related to marijuana use in the glove compartment. The driver was cited for the contraband.

03/26 - Theft - $50 to $500 - 300 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 2:49 p.m. an officer responded to a theft report. The location, a pharmacy, reported that a female suspect had entered the store earlier and had managed to reach behind the counter to remove several bottles of Hydrocodone valued at $171.85. The bottles were filled prescriptions waiting for customer pick up. The store provided a video of the suspect and her vehicle to police.

03/26 - Theft under $1,500 w/ 2 Previous Convictions - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 3:28 p.m. an officer responded to a theft complaint at a convenience store. The store manager showed the officer a video of a female who entered the store and removed $38.63 worth of items without paying for them. The female was known to the store employees as a possible suspect in previous thefts. The video confirmed their suspicions and they made a police report. The suspect's vehicle license plate was visible on the video. The officer made contact with the registered owner of the vehicle, who state that the vehicle had been sold. The registered owner was able to provide a suspect name and stated that Fort Worth P.D. was also looking for the new owner. The case remains under investigation.

03/26 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 3:53 p.m. an officer responded to a theft report. The complainant stated that a known former employee of the location, a business, had removed several items belonging the business. The items were valued at $550.

03/27 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 12:27 a.m. an officer was flagged down by a female victim in regards to a theft report. The victim reported that she was missing several items from her home. The items, all collectible coins and metals, were valued at $208 and were in a chest in the residence. The victim had no suspects at the time of the report.

03/28 - DWI / Possession of Controlled Substance - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 7:19 a.m. an officer responded to a report of an intoxicated driver. The officer located the vehicle and stopped it on Treepointe Lane. The driver, a 23 yea old female, was obviously intoxicated and was unable to complete a field sobriety assessment. The vehicle passenger, a 19 year old male, was also intoxicated and admitted to the two of them drinking all night. The driver was also in possession of Hydrocodone tablets. The driver was transported to the Mansfield Municipal Jail for a voluntary blood draw. She was then transported to the Kennedale Municipal Jail for booking. The passenger was also arrested for Public Intoxication. He was booked in the Kennedale Municipal Jail.

03/29 - Missing Person - 600 block of Reeves: At 12:14 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a missing 17 year old male. The male was upset about a personal matter and had left the residence earlier without telling anyone where he was going. The missing male failed to take his cell phone and could not be contacted. A report was generated.

03/30 - Assault (Family Member) - 900 block of Greenfield Court: At 1:23 a.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. On arrival officers met with a 48 year old female and a 46 year old male. Both parties admitted to arguing during the course of the evening. The female advised that she was choked by the male in an attempt to keep her from crying. The male was arrested and charge with the assault.

03/30 - Burglary of a Vehicle - 7100 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 9:17 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. The owner of the location, an automotive repair shop, stated that a vehicle had been broken into and the dash radio removed. The vehicle had been left at the shop for several months. The officer was unable to reach the registered owner.

03/30 - Aggravated Robbery (Deadly Weapon) - 100 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:13 p.m. officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at a business. The employees stated that an unknown male entered the store wearing a ski mask and gloves and took all three employees to the break room. The employees were zip tied together and and the suspect left with the money from the store register. The suspect was described as 5'4", 250 lbs., wearing a black hoodie and sweat pants, and spoke with a Hispanic accent. The weapon used was an automatic handgun.

03/31 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 8:17 a.m. an officer responded to a report of an auto theft. The victim reported that his 2000 Corvette was removed from his driveway, possibly during the overnight hours. The vehicle was valued at $15,900. The vehicle was entered into the crime information systems as stolen.
