04/14 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 700 block of Dick Price Road: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the listed location. The driver, a 43 year old male, was extremely nervous and acting suspicious. Upon being interviewed by the officer, the driver admitted to possessing a small amount of marijuana paraphernalia in his vehicle. The driver was nervous as he is on parole and did not want to go back to prison. The driver's license was also found to be revoked. He was cited for the drug paraphernalia and the drivers license violation.

04/14 - Information - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 2:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to QT for a disturbance. On arrival the officers met with a 62 year old male who had been loitering on the property for some time. The store personnel advised that the male became offensive to female customers, using inappropriate language and making off-color remarks. He was asked to leave the property but refused. Officers gave the male a criminal trespass warning and he departed the property.

04/15 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 8:15 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a stolen trailer. The victim reported that a 20 foot long utility trailer valued at $4,000 was missing. Due to the number of trailers on the property, it is unknown when the trailer was taken.

04/15 - False Report to a Police Officer - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 1:04 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a report of a possible assault. On arrival the location was discovered to be in Arlington and was turned over to the Arlington Police Department. At 2:07 p.m. the officer was again dispatched to the area, this time to an address in Kennedale. The officer met with a female who advised she had been assaulted by another female, who was not on scene. The victim stated that she and the suspect were dating the same man. The victim said that she is pregnant by the man. The victim made a number of misleading and/or false statements to the officer and then left the scene. The officer received a call later from Fort Worth police officers, who were dealing with the female at JPS Hospital on an alleged assault, this time claiming it was the boyfriend. They were advised of all that had transpired in Kennedale and Arlington, and that she would be charged in Kennedale with filing a false report.

04/15 - Burglary/Theft $50 to $500 - 600 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:21 p.m. an officer met with a victim who reported items taken from her home. The victim had been out of town but there were workers on site doing repairs to her home. While the victim was away, person(s) unknown had removed several items from the property including a 46" TV, a car stereo, and a set of car tires. No value was given on the items.

04/15 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 300 block of Spring Branch: At 8:24 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. The victim, a 47 year old male, stated that his estranged common-law wife had assaulted him during an argument over food stamps and the fact that he was taking his children to his ex-wife for a visit. The victim had a bump on his head where he was struck by the suspect. The suspect was not present at the time of the report.

04/16 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 3:00 p.m. officers located a stolen vehicle parked at a residence. After watching the vehicle for a period of time to see if the suspect's(s) would return, the officers impounded the vehicle, which was confirmed as stolen from Reno, Texas. The officers notified the Springtown owner that it could be picked up.

04/17 - Criminal Mischief $1,500 to $20,000 - 900 block of Shady Vale Drive: At 11:14 a.m. an officer took a report of damage to an air conditioning unit. Person(s) unknown attempted to removed the copper coil from the unit, which rendered it inoperable. The value was placed at $3,500 to replace the unit.

04/17 - Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle - 5200 block of I-20 Service Road: At 6:10 p.m. an officer observed a stolen vehicle out of Fort Worth traveling east on the I-20 service road.Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver, who had multiple warrants out of Fort Worth and Arlington, was arrested.

04/18 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 5400 block of High Ridge: At 12:12 a.m. an officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle. The vehicle contained two occupants, a 23 year old male and a 22 year old female. In the vehicle officers discovered several open alcohol containers as well as drug paraphernalia. The occupants were issued citations and released.

04/19 - Assault - 500 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:55 a.m. an officer discovered a domestic assault occurring in the middle of Kennedale Parkway. The involved parties, a 36 year old male and a 34 year old female, were husband and wife. They had been drinking at a club earlier in the night. Upon leaving the club they got into an argument over an incident that had occurred. It culminated with the male stopping in the roadway and the couple exiting the vehicle to continue the argument in the roadway. The male was arrested as the officer had observed the assault in progress. He was transported to the municipal jail for booking.

04/19 - Assault - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 12:33 p.m. an officer responded to a disturbance in the roadway. On arrival the officer contacted a 20 year old female victim who reported that she had been assaulted in a road rage incident. The victim stated that she had been northbound on Kennedale Parkway when a southbound funeral procession came through. She pulled to the shoulder to stop for the procession and then proceeded to re-enter the traffic lane. The victim stated that she pulled into the traffic lane and inadvertently cut off another vehicle. The vehicle's driver honked his horn at her as she continued north on the parkway. The victim reported that the other driver pulled in front of her vehicle and began to hit his brakes in an attempt to cause a collision. When the vehicles had to stop for the traffic signal at I-20, the victim took a photo of the other car with her cell phone. The driver of the vehicle, a male, exited and came back to the victim's car. She exited her vehicle and and the suspect began to aggressively yell at her. The suspect then shoved her with both hands. When the victim stated that the police were being called the suspect re-entered his car and left westbound on I-20. The victim provided a license plate and suspect description, as did the two other occupants of the victim's vehicle.

04/19 - Driving While License Invalid - 5300 block of I-20 Service Road: At 9:13 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for investigation of a warrant showing on the license plate number. The driver, a 31 year old male, was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Irving as well as driving on an invalid license. He was booked into the municipal jail.

04/20 - Possession of Marijuana - 6400 block of Treepoint Drive: Just after 1:00 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by two 20 year old males who appeared extremely nervous. While conducting a visual scan of the vehicle interior for officer safety, the officer observed a baggie of what appeared to be marijuana partially covered by a jacket. After being read his Miranda warning, the driver admitted to possessing the marijuana and a set of scales, which were also in the vehicle. The driver admitted to selling marijuana in the last week to earn money. He was arrested and transported to the municipal jail for booking.

04/20 Driving While License Invalid - 1100 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 8:27 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for investigation of warrants attached to the vehicle's license plate number. The driver, a 47 year old male, had outstanding warrants from Fort Worth and North Richland Hills as well as an invalid operator license. He was arrested and booked into the municipal jail.
