04/29 - Assault Family Member - 400 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 5:50 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. On arrival the officers were informed that a 47 year old male suspect had assaulted two family members, his 68 year old mother and his 12 year old son. The suspect had struck the child in a dispute and shoved the mother when she tried to intervene in the argument. The suspect was arrested and booked into municipal jail.
05/01 - Animal Bite - 100 block of Peach Tree Court: At 3:58 p.m. officers were dispatched to a complaint of a dog bite. A 26 year old female victim was sitting on top of a car to stay away from three dogs running at large. The victim had a bite on her upper leg. The dogs were acting aggressive and charged several pedestrians including the officer. Animal Services responded and contained the animals.
