05/13 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 900 block of Shady Creek Drive: At 12:30 p.m. an officer took an identity theft report at the police department. The victim advised that she looked at her bank account and found that a transfer had been made without her knowledge or approval. The funds were transferred to an account at another bank that had been opened by person(s) unknown using the victim's personal information.
05/14 - Disorderly Conduct - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 12:20 p.m. an officer observed a 27 year old female victim flagging him down. As the officer stopped he could hear a female suspect, standing in a doorway, shouting profanities at the victim and another female. The victim stated that they had had a disagreement with the suspect over the suspect's dogs. The suspect continued to scream profanities until officers advised her to stop. The suspect was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and Animal Services arrived to speak to the suspect about the dogs, which have been complained about by several neighbors on numerous occasions..
05/14 - Assault by Contact/Interfere with an Emergency Call - 1400 block of Fern Court: At 4:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. On arrival, the 47 year old female victim advised that the 47 year old suspect, her husband, had already fled the scene. The victim stated that she and her 13 year old daughter had been assaulted during an argument. When the victim picked up her cell phone to call the police, the suspect took the phone away from her. The suspect broke the phone by throwing it on the floor and then left the home. The victim stated that this is the second time an incident of this type had occurred but police were not notified the first time. Neither victim was seriously injured but did show marks of an assault.
05/15 - Burglary of a Vehicle - 400 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:15 a.m. an officer responded to a theft report that was actually a burglary. The victim stated that he had left his vehicle in front of his business overnight but failed to lock it. A suspect entered the vehicle and removed a number of electronic items and related equipment. The victim found a cell phone that may belong to a suspect and turned it over to police. The phone was entered into evidence for later processing.
05/17 - Violation of Protective Order - 800 block of Woodland Court: At 6:30 p.m. an officer took a report of violation of a protective order. The 27 year old female victim stated that her ex-husband, who is under a protective order to stay away form her, pulled into her driveway. The suspect then gunned his engine to get her attention, made an obscene gesture, and drove away. The suspect was not present at the time of the report.
05/18 - Demented Person - 1000 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 1:05 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, a 50 year old female, appeared confused and had no idea where she was. The officer asked the female to drive to the police department to contact her family. On arrival, it was discovered that the female was missing from McKinney. Her family responded but were unable to get her to go with them. The female became more disassociative and combative, and was taken to JPS for an emergency mental detention. Her vehicle was released to her family.
