05/27 - Burglary - 300 block of Pennsylvania: At 10:45 a.m. officers responded to a burglar alarm. On arrival the front door of the residence had been forced open and there was evidence that someone had been in the master bedroom. The homeowners, who were not at home, arrived a short time later. There were several items missing from the home including electronics and jewelry. Value of the the missing items was estimated at $1,000. A witness gave officers a description of a possible suspect seen knocking on the front door just before the alarm sounded.

05/27 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 10:44 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle theft. On arrival, the 47 year old victim stated that her ex-boyfriend had been at her home on 05/27/2013 when he took her vehicle and left. The victim stated that she thought the suspect would return. When he did not return she called police. The vehicle is a white 2008 Dodge Nitro valued at $8,000. The suspect also took the victim's wallet containing her identification, credit card, and cash. The vehicle has been listed as stolen.

05/27 - Criminal Trespass - 300 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 1:30 p.m. an officer responded to a complaint about trash being dumped on private property. On arrival the officer met with the property owner and a witness. The witness stated that earlier he had observed a suspect in a pick up truck unloading tree branches and other trash on to the property. The witness went over to the property and spoke to the suspect. The suspect advised he had permission to dump the items. The witness contacted the property owner about the incident. The property owner responded and called police. The witness gave a description of the suspect and truck as well as a license plate. While responding to the address of the license plate to contact the suspect, the officer received a call from dispatch that the complainant called to say the suspect was back with another load. The suspect left before dumping the trash with the complainant following. The suspect was stopped by officers on Kennedale Parkway and placed under arrest for trespassing and illegal dumping.

05/29 - Burglary - 1100 block of Jake Court: At 2:33 p.m. an officer responded to a burglary complaint. The victims advised that they had left their residence at 1:00 p.m. and upon returning at 2:00 p.m. found the front door unlocked. The family dog was missing out of the home and several items including a TV and jewelry had been removed. Value of the items was placed at $1,750. The suspect entered the home through a rear window and exited through the front door. A neighbor was able to give officers a description of a male suspect who was knocking at the front door at 1:30 p.m.

05/29 - Burglary/Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity - 300 block of Pennsylvania: At 2:59 p.m. officers responded to a report of a robbery. On arrival a 16 year old victim reported that three male suspects, one of whom was known to him, had entered his back yard while he was outside. The suspects ran into the home and removed several electronic items. The suspects ran out of the back yard into a wooded nature preserve. While being chased by the victim the suspects entered a car and drove away. After the victim's father returned home, it was determined that the known suspect had in fact been in the home voluntarily with the victim. The two unknown suspects had entered and removed the items without the victim's knowledge. The victim's father and the known suspect's parent made an agreement for repayment.

05/30 - Evading Arrest or Detention (Vehicle) - 500 block of North Road: At 9:21 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver refused to stop and fled into a mobile home park on North Road. The driver fled on foot into a wooded area while leaving his female passenger in the vehicle. Officers were able to identify the driver and determine that he fled due to outstanding arrest warrants. The passenger was released and the vehicle was recovered by the owner, who is related to the suspect by marriage.
