The victim stated that his family was using two kayaks in the Village Creek channel for an outing. The victim advised that they pulled the kayaks out of the water and left them on the bank while they retrieved their vehicle to load the boats. On their return person(s) unknown had stolen both kayaks.

06/03 - Drug Overdose - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:05 a.m. an officer responded to a call of a drug overdose. The two males were wanted out of Kennedale for warrants. One of the males also had marijuana in his possession. Both males were transported to the municipal jail for booking. During the investigation the female, who owned the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a number of different items such as drivers licenses and social security cards belonging to other individuals. She was arrested and charged with possession of the identifying items. The female suspect was booked into the municipal jail.
