06/02 - Theft ($50 to $500) - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 9:41 p.m. a victim reported a theft to police. The victim stated that his family was using two kayaks in the Village Creek channel for an outing. The victim advised that they pulled the kayaks out of the water and left them on the bank while they retrieved their vehicle to load the boats. On their return person(s) unknown had stolen both kayaks.

06/03 - Drug Overdose - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:05 a.m. an officer responded to a call of a drug overdose. A female victim told the officer that she had taken a large dose of painkillers in an attempt to harm herself. The victim was transported to JPS Hospital for medical treatment and psychological evaluation.

06/05 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 7000 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:20 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a towing company on a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. The vehicle, a gray Hyundai 4 door, had been towed from a location in Fort Worth. Upon arrival at the storage facility, the vehicle was discovered to be stolen out of Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Police Department was notified of the recovery and where the vehicle was being stored.

06/05 - Evading Arrest or Detention - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 3:52 p.m. an officer observed a known offender who has an outstanding warrant for burglary. The officer saw the suspect walking in a neighborhood and called for him to stop. The suspect fled on foot and disappeared behind the subdivision. It is believed that several known offenders who live in the area aided the suspect in his flight. A separate charge of evading arrest or detention will be filed on the suspect.

06/07 - Disorderly Conduct (Indecent Exposure) - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 12:01 a.m. an officer responded to a report of indecent exposure. The complainant, a female, reported that she and her husband observed the 18 year old suspect pull his pants down while standing at an entrance door to the business. The suspect was apparently exposing his buttocks (as a joke) to three friends in a separate vehicle. The suspect told the officer that he was "pulling up his pants" and denied the accusation. The suspect was issued a citation for the exposure after a written witness statement was obtained from the complainant.

06/08 - Driving Under the Influence (Minor) - 300 block of Pennsylvania: At 2:45 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The 18 year old driver had been drinking alcohol as the officer could smell it on him. The driver was charged with DUI (Minor) and released to an adult friend who responded to the scene.

06/08 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 4300 block of Danny Drive: At 4:40 a.m. officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call. On arrival officers discovered that the license plate number had been altered with black tape. The vehicle was occupied by a female and two male suspects. The two males were wanted out of Kennedale for warrants. One of the males also had marijuana in his possession. Both males were transported to the municipal jail for booking. During the investigation the female, who owned the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a number of different items such as drivers licenses and social security cards belonging to other individuals. She was arrested and charged with possession of the identifying items. The female suspect was booked into the municipal jail.
