06/30 - Criminal Trespass - 600 block of Hilltop Court: At 12:12 a.m. officers responded to a report of a break-in. On arrival officers met with the female resident. The resident pointed out items that had been moved around in the home and drawers that had been disturbed. It was obvious that person(s) unknown had been in the home but nothing appeared to be missing. Officers were able to obtain fingerprints and other evidence.
07/01 - Burglary of a Building - 500 block of Corry A. Edwards: At 7:56 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a burglary. The officer was advised by the victim that his rental building had been broken into and $680.00 in property was taken, including 100 rods of steel rebar. The victim showed the officer a trail leading from the building to a mobile home park behind the building. Witnesses were located who gave the officer names of possible suspects and their vehicles.
07/02 - Assault w/ Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 800 block of Woodland Court: At 12:55 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. On arrival the officers discovered that the suspect had already fled the scene. The victim, who is the suspect's wife, stated that she and the suspect had been arguing over car keys when the suspect assaulted her, causing a visible injury. The suspect then fled west on foot toward Oakwood Drive. There were several witnesses to the assault and statements were taken for the offense report. Kennedale EMS responded to check the victim's injuries but she refused transport to a hospital. The suspect had just been released from jail the weekend before for a domestic assault on the same victim.
07/03 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: At 3:45 a.m. a victim reported that the wheels had been stolen from his Chevy pick-up truck. The vehicle was parked in an apartment complex parking lot.
07/04 - Criminal Mischief $50 to $500 - 300 block of Arthur Drive: At 9:21 a.m. a victim reported that her 2008 Nissan Sentra was damaged overnight. Person(s) unknown caused damage to the windshield of the vehicle.
07/06 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 900 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 12:07 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview it was determined that both the driver and passenger possessed narcotics paraphernalia. Both were cited and released.
