07/14 - Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle - 400 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 12:22 a.m. an officer observed a motorcycle with no rear lights displayed. As the officer attempted to stop the motorcycle, the driver turned into a private driveway. Before the motorcycle stopped, dispatch advised the officer that it was reported stolen by Fort Worth Police Department. The driver, a 40 year old male, stopped in front of the residence and was taken into custody. He was arrested for the stolen vehicle as well as outstanding warrants from Kennedale.
07/14 - Evading arrest or Detention - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 2:16 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle traveling into Arlington. The vehicle is known to be used by a wanted felon out of Kennedale. As the officer stopped the vehicle, the driver fled on foot. The officer recognized the driver as the 25 year old male wanted on a burglary warrant out of Kennedale. The suspect was able to get away before a perimeter could be set up with Kennedale and Arlington officers. This suspect has fled numerous times to prevent being arrested for the felony warrant. An offense report was generated.
07/15 - Public Intoxication - 500 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 2:08 p.m. an officer observed a 53 year old male walking in the street. The male was staggering as he walked and fell into the street. The officer made contact and could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage about the male's person. The male was obviously intoxicated and a danger to himself. A family member was contacted at his home but stated that she didn't want the male at the residence if he had been drinking. The male was booked into the municipal jail.
07/17 - Evading Arrest or Detention - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 4:08 p.m. officers were sent to a location at I-20 and Mansfield Highway to search for a 25 year old male suspect wanted on a felony burglary warrant. Kennedale officers were assisted by Mansfield P.D. officers, who also wanted the suspect. This suspect has fled from officers on several occasions and has been able to evade officers by fleeing into wooded areas. As the officers arrived at the location, a Texaco convenience store/gas station, the suspect was standing in front of the store. When he saw the officers he turned and started to walk away. When officers moved in from the direction he was walking , the suspect turned and fled toward the Mansfield Highway. A Kennedale officer caught up to him in the roadway and placed him in custody. The male was transported to the municipal jail for booking.
07/19 - Driving While Intoxicated (2nd Charge) - 300 block of Mistletoe Drive: At 11:47 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by two adult males and one adult female. The male driver, who appeared intoxicated, failed to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment and was arrested for DWI. The driver had no license as it had been suspended in March of 2013 for another DWI. He was booked into the municipal jail.
07/20 - Wrong License Plate - 5300 block of Mansfield Highway: At 5:56 p.m. officers stopped a white Chevrolet Cavalier for displaying the wrong license plate. The officers had previously observed the vehicle unoccupied and parked at the Sack and Snack store on Kennedale Parkway with no inspection sticker and a license plate that should be displayed on a 1992 Pontiac Firebird. When officers stopped the vehicle it was driven by a 25 year old female who had a total of 15 warrants from Fort Worth and Arlington. The driver was booked into the municipal jail, and the vehicle and plates were impounded.
