The driver gave conflicting stories about what he was doing and was arrested for no operator license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and failure to identify. During an inventory of the vehicle prior to impound, the officer discovered methamphetamine and a loaded .45 auto handgun. Also found in the vehicle was computer equipment and material used to forge checks. After being brought to the municipal jail for booking, a fingerprint check revealed the suspect's true name, which was different form the name he used to purchase the vehicle. The officers had made a call to the same residence several hours earlier in response to a family member concern that the male had posted self-threatening comments on his Facebook page.
