08/26 - Burglary - 700 block of Sunrise: At 9:17 a.m. the construction manager for a new home builder reported that person(s) unknown had entered an unsecured home under construction. The suspect(s) took a tankless water heater valued at $1,700.00. The offense, which was reported on a Monday morning, occurred over the weekend.
08/26 - Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:00 p.m. an officer conducting a jail check discovered a prescription bottle of medication. The medication had been inadvertently left behind by an arrested person who was released earlier. Upon contacting the former inmate's family, it was learned that he was no longer on the medication, and didn't need or want it. The medication was booked into property to be held for destruction.
08/27 - Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:36 p.m. a wallet was turned over to an officer as found property. The wallet had been found at the QT on Kennedale Parkway. The owner of the wallet is a Kennedale resident and the officer returned it to the owner. All property was intact.
08/29 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 3:59 p.m. an officer checked a license plate on a vehicle parked at a convenience store. The vehicle owner showed to have warrants out of Fort Worth, Hurst, and White Settlement. The owner exited the store and was contacted by the officer. The warrants were confirmed and the owner, a 27 year old female, was placed under arrest. During a search of her person, the officer discovered paraphernalia used to smoke marijuana. The female was charged with the paraphernalia as well and booked into the municipal jail.
08/29 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 1000 block of Corry A. Edward Drive: At 5:56 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an expired inspection sticker. A closer inspection of the license plate sticker showed it to be fictitious. The vehicle had been observed leaving a location known to be involved in illegal narcotics activity. After contacting the male driver, who had two female passengers with him, it was discovered that one of the female occupants had numerous warrants out of Fort Worth, Parker County, and Kennedale. The driver was discovered to be in possession of paraphernalia for the use of methamphetamine. He also was in possession of a syringe loaded with methamphetamine and ready for use. He was arrested and transported to the municipal jail for booking.
08/31 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 5000 block of Timber Creek: At 12:52 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. During the interview it was discovered that the driver and a passenger were in possession of drug paraphernalia for the use of marijuana. Both were cited and released at the scene.
08/31 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 6300 block of Tree Point Drive: At 2:42 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for equipment violations. During the interview the driver was determined to be in possession of paraphernalia related to the use of marijuana. He was cited for the traffic violations and the paraphernalia, and released at the scene.
08/31 - Burglary - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 9:40 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had entered her home and removed a 60" plasma TV valued at $2,000.00. The victim reported that she had not been home for several weeks due to recovering from a car accident. The TV was taken during her absence.
