10/07 - Investigation - 100 block of Bowles Court: At 2:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. On arrival the complainant stated that his 44 year old girlfriend had tried to shoot herself before leaving the residence. The complainant said that his girlfriend was upset and had gotten his handgun while in the residence. The girlfriend tried to shoot herself but the gun misfired. The complainant told the officers that he took the handgun away from the female. She then left the residence, possibly headed to a location in Dallas County. A teletype was sent out to the area with the female's physical and vehicle description.
10/08 - Theft $50 to $500 - 7000 block of Batchelor Road: At 11:20 a.m. a victim reported the theft of scrap metal from his business. Unknown person(s) entered his property over the weekend by cutting through the security fence, and removed $250.00 in scrap metal.
10/09 - Vehicle Burglary - 300 block of Creekwood: At 7:34 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim reported that person(s) unknown had entered his unlocked vehicles overnight. The suspect(s) removed a briefcase with identifying information and blank checks inside as well as cash and music CDs.
10/11 - Vehicle Burglary - 1100 block of River Rock Drive: At 7:23 a.m. a victim reported to police that her vehicle had been entered overnight. Unknown person(s) removed $600.00 in cash from the unlocked 2013 Ford F250. While talking to the victim, the officer was contacted by two other neighbors whose unlocked vehicles had been entered. One of the vehicles contained a Walther handgun, which was taken. Also taken from other vehicles were cash and a bottle of perfume. It appears that the offenses were a single criminal episode committed by the same suspect(s). All of the vehicles were parked outside and unlocked.
10/11 - Vehicle Burglary - 1200 block of Clearbrook Drive: At 6:49 p.m. a victim reported that two of his three vehicles had been entered while parked in his driveway. The vehicles that were entered were unlocked. The third vehicle was locked and appeared undisturbed. Nothing was taken from the vehicles but the contents had been gone through.
10/11 - Public Intoxication - 1100 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:43 p.m. an officer was making a business check at a restaurant. While at the location a female patron was observed creating a disturbance in the stage area. The female continued to cause problems after being warned and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the Mansfield Law Enfrocement facility for booking.
10/12 - Vehicle Burglary - 1100 block of Greenview Drive/ 1100 block of Parkview Court: At 8:49 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Greenview on a vehicle burglary complaint. On arrival the victim stated that his vehicle had been entered overnight and the contents gone through, but nothing was taken. While at the residence the officer was notified of another overnight burglary on Greenview Drive. The second vehicle was possibly unlocked and was missing $30.00 in change. The officer scanned the neighborhood and found two other addresses where unlocked vehicle had been entered overnight. Nothing was taken from those vehicles but the contents had been disturbed. The officer also discovered a vehicle on Parkview Court that had been entered. The unlocked vehicle was missing a key ring. At 1:00 p.m. that same day, the officer responded to Peachtree Court to assist Arlington P.D. in recovering a vehicle stolen in their city during the same overnight hours. The vehicle had been unlocked and the keys left in it. The vehicle was processed for fingerprints. The vehicle owner is providing officers with a video of the suspect taking the vehicle.
