10/20 - Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:52 a.m. a citizen turned in a wallet that had been found in the street on Autumnwood Court. The wallet contained no money but did have identification and a credit card indicating the owner. The wallet was placed in property and evidence until the owner could be contacted.

10/20 - Assault - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 10:00 p.m. an officer responded to JPS Hospital on reported assault. The victim, a female, stated that she had been in an argument with a male at her residence. During the argument the male pushed the victim to the floor, causing her pain. The victim began to experience chest pains and had a friend transport her to the hospital. The suspect was not present at the time of the report.

10/21 - Burglary - 400 block of Coker Valley Drive: At 8:44 a.m. an officer took a report on a burglary. The victim reported that his backyard storage shed and his vehicle were broken into over the weekend. Unknown person(s) removed assorted tools valued in excess of $1,200.00. The vehicle, a Ford truck, was parked next to the shed in the back yard area.

10/22 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 5700 block of I-20 Service Road: At 1:17 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon contacting the four occupants of the vehicle, the officer could smell marijuana. During the interview, a baggie of white powder was found in the vehicle. A field test showed positive for cocaine. The driver, who was the vehicle owner, was arrested for the narcotics. He was transported to the Mansfield Law Enforcement Center for booking.

10/22 - Promotion of Gambling - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:00 a.m. an undercover officer went to a local business that displays a number of eight liner machines. The officer played the games and won $8.00 on one machine, and $38.00 on another. The winnings were paid to him in cash. The investigator return to the police department and assisted in securing an administrative search and seizure warrant for the games' motherboards and the cash being held on premises. The warrant was served later in the week to protect the officer's identity.

10/22 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 7300 block of Batchelor Road: At 9:51 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had entered the property overnight. The suspect(s) removed several pieces of plate metal and metal tubing valued at $3,000.00. Entry was made by cutting through a security fence.

10/22 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 8:22 p.m. a complainant reported the theft of an IPad from a retail store. The suspect came in to the store and asked to see the unit. When the clerk took the unit out, the suspect grabbed it and ran out of the store. The suspect got into a silver sedan and fled the scene. The IPad was valued at over $250.00.

10/23 - Public Intoxication - 400 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 6:30 p.m. an officer responded to the police department for an accident report. The complainant stated that she had been at a stop sign on Pennsylvania Avenue and Little School Road earlier when a vehicle in front of her pulled into the intersection, almost striking oncoming traffic. The vehicle backed up, striking the complainant's front bumper. The complainant attempted to get insurance information from the driver, who attempted to leave the scene but pulled over when the complainant followed him. The male driver gave his name, contact number, and drivers license number but would not give his insurance. The male stated that he was drunk and needed to get home. He gave the complainant several hundred dollars in cash before driving away. While speaking with the complainant the officer received a call of a male at Burger Box attempting to get a ride. The male appeared to have been in an accident. The officer located the male, who was the suspect from the accident complaint. He was intoxicated but his vehicle could not be located. He was arrested and transported to Mansfield for booking.

10/24 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:02 p.m. an officer located a vehicle with the door open and the motor running, parked in front of a business. The officer located the driver in the business and he was discovered to have warrants from Tarrant County S.O. and Kennedale. The driver was arrested. During the arrest, a methamphetamine pipe was found in the vehicle. The driver charged and transported to Mansfield for booking.

10/24 - Possession of controlled Substance - 1300 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:12 p.m. an officer stopped two pedestrians for crossing against a signal on Kennedale Parkway and I-20. During the interview one of the pedestrians, a male, was found to be wanted by Forest Hill Police, who were on scene and took custody of him. The female was discovered to be in possession on of several syringes filled with a liquid that tested positive for heroin. She was arrested and transported to Mansfield for booking.

10/25 - Burglary - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 8:01 a.m. a victim reported that her purse had been stolen at a convenience store two days earlier. The victim stated that she went into the store, leaving her purse in the unlocked vehicle. Upon her return the purse and contents were gone.

10/25 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 7:48 p.m. two males were observed sitting in a vehicle at a convenience store and panhandling customers for money. Upon being contacted by officers, it was determined that one of the males was wanted on warrants from both Mansfield and Arlington. The officers also located a glass narcotics pipe in plain view in the vehicle. Both were issued citations for the pipe and the first male was transported to Mansfield for booking on the warrants.
