12/01 - Vehicle Burglary - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 10:45 a.m. a victim reported that her cell phone had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The victim's mother was also with her, and had her purse and cell phone taken from the vehicle as well. The first victim stated that she and her mother stopped for a soft drink at a convenience store and went inside. While they were in the store an unknown person entered the unlocked vehicle and removed the items. The act was captured on the store's video system and the video has been entered as evidence.

12/01 - Assault of a Family Member (Bodily Injury) - 200 block of Pine Meadows: At 8:59 p.m. officers responded to an assault call. The victim, a 27 year old pregnant female, stated that she and her 27 year old boyfriend had verbally argued over a text message on his phone. During the argument the boyfriend assaulted the victim by hitting her several times with his hands and fists. The victim was able to run to a friend's house nearby. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. A warrant will be issued for the suspect.

12/02 - Vehicle Burglary - 1000 block of Bowman Springs: At 9:11 a.m. a complainant reported that two buses had the batteries stolen overnight. The batteries were valued at $240.00.

12/02 - Vehicle Burglary - 1300 block of Meadowview: At 10:32 a.m. a victim reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered between November 30 and December 2, 2013. Person(s) unknown removed the victim's prescription medication that had been left in the glove box.

12/04 - Vehicle Burglary - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:30 a.m. a victim reported that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle. The victim reported that she had stopped at the gas pumps and went inside to pay for the gas, leaving her purse in her unlocked vehicle. An unknown person entered the vehicle while the victim was inside and removed the purse. A witness observed the offense and wrote down the license plate number of the suspect's vehicle. The suspect left, driving into Forest Hill, before officers arrived.

12/04 - Fail to Report Accident - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 3:59 p.m. a victim reported that his 2003 Acura had been struck in the parking lot of his apartment complex. The vehicle was parked in a space provided by the complex. An unknown person and vehicle had driven into the front end of the vehicle, causing damage to the left front fender and bumper.

12/05 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 12:53 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance involving a female trying to stab a male with scissors. On arrival officers observed a 26 year old female holding scissors and screaming. The female dropped the scissors but continued to rant and scream, appearing to be under the influence of methamphetamine. The male told officers that the female had been using methamphetamine for the last three days. The male gave the officers the female's narcotics kit that was consistent with the use of methamphetamine. After attempting to have her checked by paramedics, the female remained uncooperative and was transported by an officer to JPS for an emergency mental detention.

12/05 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 7000 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 2:04 p.m. an officer took a report of a recovered stolen motorcycle. The vehicle, a Harley Davidson, had been towed from the Walmart at U.S. 287 and Little Road. It was reported stolen out of Arlington. Arlington P.D. was notified.

12/06 - Assault by Contact - 900 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 2:26 p.m. a victim reported to officers that he was assaulted by his step-father at the step-father's business. The two got into a verbal argument and the step-father pushed the victim in the chest. The victim was escorted by officers to the police department to call for a ride from a family member. The suspect was issued a citation for assault by contact.
