12/08 - Information - 500 block of North Road: At 7:28 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving a gunshot. On arrival a witness stated that an unknown male had driven past his home and fired a handgun while yelling a racial epithet. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or a shell casing. Witnesses were interviewed but no further descriptions of the truck or the male occupant were available.

12/12 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 7000 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 5:00 a.m. an officer took a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been towed as abandoned from a location in Fort Worth. It was discovered to have been reported stolen to Fort Worth police on 12/08/2013. The Fort Worth P.D. was notified.

12/12 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 6900 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 10:30 a.m. a victim reported the theft of a vehicle tow dolly from a business. The dolly was removed from the property during the overnight hours. The item was valued at $1,701.59.

12/13 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 800 block of Bowman Springs Road: At 12:19 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and the driver had warrants out of Mansfield. The vehicle and driver were searched (with probable cause) and the officer discovered a large number of syringes as well as methamphetamine. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Mansfield for booking. His passenger, a female, was cited and released for narcotics paraphernalia due to syringes and methamphetamine residue on her person. The narcotics and paraphernalia were placed into evidence.

12/13 - Burglary - 1400 block of J. R. Hawkins Road: At 7:41 a.m. officers responded to a reported burglary of a business. Person(s) unknown had forced entry into the business as well as a business next door. The suspect(s) took an assorted number of electronics and other items while ransacking the businesses.

12/14 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 6400 block of Treepoint: At 11:56 p.m. an officer made a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer could smell an odor of marijuana. The driver, a female, stated that they (she and a male passenger) had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle earlier. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Mansfield for booking. The narcotics were entered into evidence.

12/14 - Evading Arrest or Detention (Vehicle) - 4800 block of Bowman Springs Road: At 1:43 a.m. an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver refused to yield and continued driving into Arlington, where he was stopped by Kennedale and Forest Hill units. The driver was taken into custody and transported to Mansfield for booking.

12/14 - Driving While Intoxicated - 5300 block of Mansfield Highway: At 9:54 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, a 26 year old male, smelled of an alcoholic beverage and appeared to be intoxicated. The driver was unable to successfully complete a sobriety assessment and was arrested for DWI. He was transported to Mansfield for booking.
