12/24 - Burglary - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 5:41 p.m. an officer responded to a burglary complaint. The victim reported that a wall plaque with a set of horns mounted to it was removed from the residence. The victim stated that he left the residence at 4:15 p.m.to go to Walmart with a friend. The home was not locked while he was gone. On his return at 5:30 p.m. he noticed the plaque missing. A witness saw a suspect carrying the plaque and leaving the home. The case has been given to detectives.
12/25 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 6:55 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft from a convenience store. A female clerk stated that a male entered the store and went behind the counter. The suspect removed several cartons of cigarettes and left the property in a black Ford Focus with a partial license plate of "CLK." The incident was captured on the store video system.
12/27 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of Vera Lane: At 10:23 a.m. an officer responded to a reported theft. The victim stated that he was missing $250.00 cash and a check book from his bedroom. The victim had placed the money there for safekeeping during a family holiday celebration. During the time the celebration was taking place, the money and check book were removed. The victim believes that a family member who used the bedroom to take a nap removed the items. The family member had already left by the time the victim discovered the theft.
12/28 - Burglary - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 1:17 p.m. a victim reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle front seat. The victim stated that she was getting gas at a pump island when the purse was removed. A witness observed the offense occur and gave a description of the suspect. The purse contained cash, credit cards, and a cell phone.
12/28 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 300 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 6:37 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop the officer smelled burnt marijuana and observed a pipe in plain view in the ash tray. The officer located other paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was cited for the contraband and all items were placed in evidence.
