01/12 - Burglary - 900 block of Corry A, Edwards Drive: At 10:31 a.m. officers were dispatched to a theft in progress. A citizen had observed three males attempting to remove an air compressor from a shed by the football field of the junior high school. The males ran away when they realized they were being watched and had left the area on the officers arrival. The officers contacted school officials who responded to check the property. It was discovered that person(s) unknown had removed $5,150 worth of tools as well as a large amount of copper wiring from some of the field lighting. The School Resource Officer for the school will review video footage to determine if the suspects can be identified.

01/12 - Assault of Family Member (Bodily Injury) - 5900 block of Eden Road: At 2:12 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. On arrival, two uninvolved complainants reported that a female victim had been standing in the roadway and appeared to be in distress. A male was with the victim but left the area on foot when he saw the witnesses calling police. The female victim stated that the male was her husband and that he had assaulted her during an argument. The suspect was not present and officers located a separate witness who stated that he had dropped the suspect off at another location. The witness was unaware that an assault has occurred.

01/12 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 3:46 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported that she had two friends in her home, a male and a female. While the victim was asleep, the two friends removed several personal items without her permission. The items included a lawn mower and a vacuum cleaner.

01/12 - Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 8:00 p.m. a victim reported a burglary. The victim stated that he left to run some errands. When he returned, person(s) unknown had entered the residence and removed cash and jewelry.

01/13 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 400 block of Kevin Miller Road: At 5:00 a.m. a victim reported that his catalytic convertor was stolen from his car overnight. The convertor was valued at $500.00.

01/13 - Criminal Mischief $1,500 to $20,000 - 1200 block of Leanne Court: At 4:09 p.m. a victim reported that his Chevrolet Trailblazer had been damaged while parked in his driveway. The vehicle had numerous windows broken out as well as body damage. The damage was done by the victim's adult son while the victim was at work. The damage was estimated at $2,000.00. The son was not present at the time of the report.

01/13 - Vehicle Burglary - 3800 block of Kennedale New Hope Road: At 7:45 p.m. a victim reported that his wallet was stolen. The wallet was removed from the front seat of the victim's unlocked personal vehicle, which was in a public parking lot.

01/14 - Vehicle Burglary - 600 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 8:38 a.m. a victim reported that a company truck was burglarized. The truck was damaged in an accident in April of 2013. The truck contained a gray duffel bag belonging to one of the two employees involved in the accident. It is unknown when the theft of the bag occurred or what was in the bag.

01/14 - Vehicle Burglary - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 7:28 p.m. two female victims reported that their vehicles had been broken into and their purses removed. The vehicles, a 2003 Dodge Durango and a 2003 Lincoln Navigator, had windows broken out to effect entry.

01/15 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 500 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:45 p.m. a victim reported the theft of a wallet from a business. The victim is employed at the business and reported that a female came in to use the telephone. The suspect took the victim's wallet from her purse as she left.

01/16 - Fraud - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 3:11 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report a fraud. The victim stated that she received a $972.00 money order from a firm in Louisiana for services as a mystery shopper. The victim was to deposit the money order in her account and withhold her fee of $56.00. The remaining $916.00 was to be sent back to the company via a separate money order. The victim deposited the first money order into her personal account, withheld her fee, and sent a second money order that was also drawn on her personal account. Her bank, which had originally credited her account for the original deposit, later notified her that the first money order was not valid and removed the credit.

01/17 - Vehicle Burglary - 700 block of Crestview: At 11:47 a.m. a victim reported that his unlocked personal vehicle was entered overnight. Person(s) unknown removed a disc gold bag containing assorted discs from the vehicle's back seat. The victim listed a possible suspect who lives in the neighborhood.
