02/16 - Assault Family Member (Bodily Injury) - 200 block of Mistletoe Drive: At 12:26 p.m. a victim reported to officers at the Police Department that she had been recently assaulted by her husband. The victim stated that her husband has been going through some "hard times" and had been drinking all weekend. He began to make threats of suicide and became violent, breaking several items in the house. When the victim refused to leave the residence, the suspect struck her in the forehead with sufficient force to cause her to fall back into a wall, hitting her head. The victim then grabbed some personal items, leaving to go to her son's residence. The son advised the victim to make a police report.
02/18 - Burglary - 100 block of Collett Sublett Road: At 8:24 a.m. a victim reported that his storage shed was burglarized. Suspect(s) stole a number of items used to do landscape maintenance as well as a flatbed trailer.
02/18 - Burglary - 500 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9: 43 a.m. a victim reported that he interrupted a burglary at his business. The victim arrived at work to observe a vehicle driven by a female parked at his fence line. A known male suspect was carrying a bundle and walking toward the car from a storage shed on the property. The male dropped the bundle of copper wire he was carrying when confronted by the victim. The suspect then left with the female driving the vehicle. A check of the building revealed a number of hand tools missing. The victim provided suspect identity and a license plate number for the vehicle.
02/18 - Criminal Mischief - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: At 12:52 p.m. a victim reported to an officer that her vehicle was damaged while parked at her apartment complex. The vehicle was scratched by an unknown object. Damage was estimated at $750.00. The victim listed a possible suspect as her ex-boyfriend, who has made threats to harm her and to damage her vehicle. The suspect was not in the area at the time of the report.
02/18 - Theft of Materials Under $20,000 - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 6:56 p.m. a victim reported a theft from his rental property. The victim is a landlord for the property and is trying to evict the tenants. The landlord came over to check the property and discovered the kitchen stove missing as well as copper wiring from the walls. The property had also been damaged. The tenants stated that they knew nothing of the missing items.
