02/22 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 100 block of Joplin Road: At 9:56 a.m. a victim reported to police that a 16 foot utility trailer was stolen from his property. The trailer was chained up and the lock had been cut to remove the property. The value was placed at $1,600.00.

02/24 - Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child - 100 block of Bowles Court: On this date a detective received a case referral from CPS regarding possible sexual abuse of three children ranging in age from 10 years to 14 years old. The abuse is alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2013, when the victims and their mother lived in Kennedale. The children and the mother currently reside in another city. The suspect, a family member, is identified but his whereabouts are not known at this time.

02/24 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 401 Municipal Drive: At 3:19 p.m. an officer met with a complainant at the police department. The complainant stated that his vehicle, a 2001 Ford F-150 truck, was stolen from his place of employment. A possible suspect is the complainant's estranged wife, who lives in another city. He has been separated from his wife since 2013. A company video shows a person entering the parking area and removing the truck.

02/24 - Theft $50 to $500 - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: At 4:15 p.m. an officer took a theft of license plates report from a female victim. The victim stated that her ex-boyfriend has been threatening and harassing her via text messages. The victim believes the ex-boyfriend removed the plates from her car as he had texted her earlier to say when she returned home she wouldn't be able to leave. The officer escorted the victim out of the city to ensure her safety.

02/25 - Burglary - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 6:56 p.m. a victim reported that his workshop was burglarized by unknown person(s). Between 02/13/2014 and the report date, unknown person(s) entered the building by prying the back door open and removed a number of items including car wheels, tools, and shop devices. Also taken were two handguns. The items were preliminarily valued at between $35,000.00 and $40,000.00.

02/27 - DWI - 700 block of Timberline Road: At 12:58 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for erratic driving and speeding. The driver, a 25 year old female, exhibited signs of intoxication and was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. She was arrested for DWI and transported to the Mansfield jail for a breath test. The test was positive for intoxication. The suspect was remanded to the custody of jail officials.

02/27 - Assault by Contact - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:45 a.m. a victim reported that he was assaulted earlier in the week by a known suspect. The victim and suspect were involved in an indoor soccer game when the assault occurred. The victim was a referee and the suspect a player who became upset with a call during the game. The suspect chest bumped the victim and spit on him. The suspect was ejected from the premises by the owner.

02/27 - Theft $50 to $500 - 500 block of Averitt Road: At 4:15 p.m. a victim reported that the battery to her automatic gate was stolen. The battery's cables were cut and the battery taken, leaving the gate inoperable. The value was place at $70.00.

02/27 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 200 block of Pine Meadow: At 2:45 p.m. officers responded to a reported hit and run accident. The caller stated that the driver, a female, hit a home and left the vehicle, running to another nearby home. On arrival officers located a 27 year old female who stated that she was driving the vehicle when the brakes went out. Further investigation revealed that the female was actually arguing with a 27 year old male in the vehicle when she started to physically fight. The female was striking the male when she ran into the duplex whose driveway she pulled into. The male showed injuries consistent with the story given. She was arrested for family violence and placed in the Mansfield jail.

02/28 - Abandoned/Found Property - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:20 a.m. officers were investigating a fight call when an uninvolved male brought them an opened pocket knife. The knife was found in the men's rest room. It is unknown if the knife was used in the fight or not. The knife was placed in property and evidence.

02/28 - Abandoned/Found Property - 5400 block of High Ridge Road: At 11:38 a.m. an officer was approached by a complainant who stated that he observed a vehicle pull up to a structure and throw an object onto the roof. Further investigation revealed the object to be a 12 gauge shotgun in a cloth carrying case. The shotgun was placed into property and evidence pending further investigation.
