03/24 - Emergency Mental Detention - 100 block of N. Little School Road: At 12:39 p.m. an officer observed a female sitting in the traffic lane of Little School Road. The female was known to the officer from previous contacts. She is a resident of a nearby group home for mentally challenged adults. Several care givers were with the female, trying to get her out of the street. The female fought the care givers and also fought with officers to prevent being removed from the street. She was finally moved to the curb and was taken into custody for transport to JPS for a mental evaluation, due to the combativeness.

03/24 - Reckless Damage - 6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 3:09 p.m. a victim reported to officers that his 2013 Camaro had been damaged by an unknown male. The victim stated that he was at the Kennedale Speedway Park when he observed a reckless driver in the parking area. The victim pulled up next to the suspect and asked him to slow down in the parking lot. The suspect spun the tires on his pickup truck and slung gravel onto the victim's car, causing damage to the body and paint. The suspect left the property. The victim did get a license plate number.

03/24 - Burglary - 200 block of Pine Meadows: At 7:00 p.m. officers responded to a burglary report. Witnesses at the scene stated that a male had reportedly pried open a window to a residence that was not his. The male entered the residence and removed property without the owner's consent. The male was still on scene and was arrested. He was charged with burglary.

03/24 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 500 block of W. Kennedale Sublett Road: At 9:29 p.m. officers responded to a report of a woman screaming for help. The officers located a female who stated that she and her husband were arguing over a vehicle that they had just bought. The vehicle was stopped in a business parking lot. The husband had left the scene on foot and was walking when he was retrieved by an officer. During the investigation the officers discovered a marijuana pipe in the vehicle. A citation was issued for the paraphernalia.

03/25 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: At 4:41 a.m. a victim reported to police that his 2009 Suzuki motorcycle had been stolen. The victim said that he heard a tailgate close outside of his apartment and looked outside. The victim observed unknown person(s) leaving the parking area with his motorcycle in the back of a white truck.

03/25 - Abandoned/Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 7:30 a.m. an officer found a marijuana pipe in the back seat of a patrol unit. The pipe was stuffed into a small crevice between the front and rear seat. A video review revealed the item to have been left by a person who had been temporarily detained by an officer on an earlier shift. The pipe was entered into evidence.

03/25 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:30 a.m. a victim reported to police that an unknown male had removed three video cameras from the outside of her business. The cameras were connected to a surveillance system. The theft was captured on video.

03/25 - Harassment - 100 block of W. 5th Street: At 3:40 p.m. a victim reported that she is getting harassing phone calls from her sister-in-law. The victim stated that her brother is in the process of divorcing the suspect and that the suspect has been making unwanted calls and text messages in large amounts. The calls are being received by both the victim and her mother.

03/27 - DWI - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:36 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle stopped on top of a concrete retaining wall. The vehicle's left front wheel was hanging off of the wall. The driver was contacted and appeared to have been drinking alcohol. The driver, a 33 year old female, stated that she had been drinking at a bar and that she was intoxicated. The driver failed to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment and was arrested for DWI. She was transported to the Mansfield jail for booking, where she refused to submit to a breath test.

03/27 - Missing Person - 300 block of W. Broadway: On this date an officer took a missing person report. The missing person, a 19 year old female, was reported by her roommate. The missing person had not been heard from for 24 hours. Before the report was finished the missing female was contacted and located.

03/28 - Theft Under $50 - 1100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:30 p.m. officers responded to a theft report by an employee who was on site at a business. The suspect had taken a tool from the company stock and placed it in his vehicle to take home. Management on site at the time stated that they were terminating the employee but did not wish to prosecute him. The owner called back later stating that he did want prosecution. A report was made.

03/28 - Possession of Marijuana - 6700 block of Oak Crest Drive West: At 2:14 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle leaving a known narcotics location. The vehicle driver, a 27 year old female, committed a traffic violation and was stopped. During the stop the driver was asked to step out by the officer. As she stepped out she handed the officer a small baggie of marijuana. The officer also located more marijuana and several pills in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for the marijuana as the pills were not listed as controlled substances.

03/28 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 500 block of North Road: At 11:33 p.m. officers responded to a family violence complaint. The actor was gone when the officers arrived and they met with the victim. The victim stated that she had been with her 25 year old boyfriend at a lake earlier in the day and that they argued over her losing her cell phone. The argument continued as they drove home. The suspect stopped and kicked the victim off of the motorcycle, leaving her in Crowley. The victim called her mother to take her to her home in Kennedale, which she shares with the suspect. She and the suspect began arguing again and the suspect struck her numerous times while dragging her out of the home and throwing her belongings onto the ground. Witness statements were obtained.

03/29 - DWI - 5300 block of Mansfield Highway: At 12:22 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview the driver, a 29 year old male, admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana earlier in the night. He was unable to complete a field sobriety assessment and was arrested for DWI. A breath test was administered at the Mansfield jail with a result of 0.18% BAC.
