04/21 - Vehicle Burglary - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 9:10 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle burglary at Kennedale High School. On arrival, the officer met with two complainants who advised that their vehicles had been burglarized. Both vehicles were parked in the same parking area. Person(s) unknown broke out rear windows on both vehicles and removed property, including purses and electronics, that had been left in the floorboard and back seats of the vehicles.

04/22 - Assault on a Public Servant - 600 block of Tower Drive: At 2:54 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a report of a female in traffic on Kennedale Parkway. On arrival the officer observed an emotionally disturbed female from a group home in the traffic lane with two attendants trying to control her. The female broke loose from the attendants and the officer attempted to calm her down. The female began to assault the officer, trying to hit her. The officer was able to place the female on the ground and get her handcuffed. The female, who is bi-polar and violent when angry, was transported to JPS for an emergency mental detention.

04/22 - Hit and Run - 700 block of Shady Creek Drive: At 4:05 p.m. an officer was dispatched to an accident. A witness reported that a school bus had struck a warning sign for an underground cable while trying to back up. The bus left the scene. The driver and bus were later located at the bus storage facility. The driver was unaware of the collision with the sign.

04/22 - Deadly Conduct (Discharge Firearm) - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 7:49 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting. Witnesses reported that several males in a white Ford Crown Victoria had left the Walmart. One of the males fired several shots from a handgun east into Arlington, and in the direction of a convenience store, before driving away. A security video was obtained from Walmart showing the males inside at a kiosk. It is unknown why the shots were fired, or at whom they were directed.

04/22 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 300 block of W. Broadway Street: At 4:34 p.m. officers responded to an assault complaint. A 19 year old female victim reported that she was assaulted by an 18 year old male suspect with whom she has a child. The victim and suspect got into an argument over the child and the suspect struck the victim multiple times in the face and head. The victim was transported to Mansfield Methodist Hospital for treatment. The suspect was not present when officers arrived. A warrant will be issued.

04/23 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 5800 block of Eden Road: At 1:30 p.m. an officer stopped to check a vehicle parked along the roadway with its doors opened. Two males were nearby going through trash on the roadway. One of the males was arrested for outstanding warrants. The second male, who was the driver, was cited for narcotics paraphernalia. There were two pipes used for smoking methamphetamine and marijuana in plain view in the vehicle. There were also three empty syringes in the vehicle.

04/23 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:51 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a stolen wallet. The victim reported that his wallet was stolen from his jacket while it lying on the sidewalk in front of the business.

04/23 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:23 p.m. an officer responded to a report of theft of gas. A vehicle driver had pumped gas valued at $71.26 into her vehicle and then left the scene. The female suspect was located and brought back to the scene. She was not arrested that the time due to being 8 months pregnant. The case has been turned over to detectives.

04/24 - Theft Under $50 - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 8:22 a.m. a victim reported that her front license plate was stolen from her vehicle. The date and time of the theft were unknown.
