04/29 - Criminal Mischief - $50 to $500 - 1000 block of Bowman Springs Road: At 1:00 p.m. a victim reported to police that a window on his vehicle was damaged by a known person. The damage to the vehicle occurred on 04-28-2014. The victim stated that the suspect approached his vehicle while he was stopped in the roadway and threw an object at the window. The window broke upon impact.
04/30 - Aggravated Robbery (Firearm) - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 9:58 p.m. a male victim reported that a known male suspect had entered his apartment at 9:00 p.m. accusing him of a theft. The victim had assisted the suspect in moving on the day before. The suspect was accompanied by two other males and an unknown female. The suspect struck the victim several times with the firearm while accusing him of the theft. The victim denied the theft and the suspects turned to leave. One of the other males picked up the victim's cell phone on the way out of the door.
05/01 - Vehicle Burglary - 900 block of Harrison Drive: At 8:40 a.m. a victim reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours. Person(s) unknown removed several items including medications and a briefcase. The vehicle is a 1993 Cadillac.
05/01 - Assault by Contact - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 8:23 p.m. officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance. On arrival, officers met with a male and female who advised that they had an argument. Blows were struck by both persons but only minor injuries were suffered. Both subjects were cited for assault.
05/02 - Driving While Intoxicated - 5700 block of Shelby Road: At 2:25 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for excessive speed. The driver smelled of alcohol and was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Mansfield jail for booking. The suspect refused a breath test.
05/03 - Animal Bite - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 12:57 p.m. officers were dispatched to a dog bite complaint. A dog had bitten an 11 year old child and was at a residence on the same street. Officers attempted to contact the owner but the dog would not allow them close to the home. The owner came outside to contact the officers and was told to quarantine the animal. The complaint was passed along to the animal services officer.
