05/04 - Vehicle Burglary - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 3:33 p.m. a victim reported that his vehicle was illegally entered and a large sum of money was taken. The victim's vehicle, a 2004 Chrysler, was parked in the parking lot of his apartment complex. The money was a deposit for the victim's employer. No forced entry was indicated and the passenger door was standing open. The suspect(s) also took several DVDs and attempted to remove the stereo from the dash.

05/04 - Burglary - 5900 block of Eden Road: At 7:15 p.m. a victim reported that a known suspect entered his property and removed two lawn mowers and a 55 inch flat screen TV. The suspect told the victim that the property was his (the suspect's) while removing the items. The victim stated it was not the suspect's but did not try to stop the suspect as there were two other unknown males with him. The property was valued at $190.00.

05/06 - Aggravated Assault (Family Member) - 5700 block of I-20: AT 4:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to a business on an assault with a stabbing. On arrival officers met with the 40 year old male victim in the parking lot of the business. He had not been stabbed but had been cut on his hand. The victim reported that his 44 year old ex-girlfriend had been waiting on him to report for his shift at work,. As the victim was getting his work tools out of the back of his vehicle he saw a vehicle approaching him and observed a white Dodge Magnum driving toward him. The victim jumped out of the way as the Dodge struck his vehicle. The driver was the ex-girlfriend. As the victim attempted to get the female out of the vehicle to hold for police, she began stabbing at him with a knife. That is where the victim received the cut on his hand. Several employees approached at this time to say that police had been called. The suspect drove away from the property and was not on scene when officers arrived.

05/08 - Forgery - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:40 p.m. a victim reported to police that his Social Security number was used to file a fraudulent tax return with the IRS. The victim had no idea who the female is or how his number was obtained.

05/09 - Information Report - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 5:01 p.m. officers were contacted by a supervisor with Durham School Services. The supervisor and a driver advised the officers that the driver had overheard a student on the bus make a threat about a possible school shooting on Monday morning. The officers watched the video and then contacted school staff. The officers were able to make contact with all of the students involved within a couple of hours. The student making the comment had not heard it directly and was repeating what others had stated. It was determined that no threat had been made in reference to a shooting. Police presence was increased on Monday morning as a precaution but no criminal violation appears to have occurred.

05/10 - Hit and Run Accident - 400 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:04 a.m. a victim reported that his vehicle, a Ford Ranger pickup, was struck by a trailer being pulled by another truck. The victim stated that a witness saw the vehicle and trailer pull away from the victim's vehicle. The trailer struck the victim's truck and the suspect stopped to look at the damage. He then drove away. The witness was able to obtain a license plate for the truck and trailer.

05/10 - Theft $50 to $500 - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 6:16 p.m. a victim reported to police that several items including a camera, two watches, and medication were taken from his residence. The items were taken during the day when a known suspect was inside the residence. The suspect was a visitor and was allowed to be in the home.

05/10 - Aggravated Robbery - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 10:39 p.m. officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at a business. Two stores employees advised that an unknown male suspect entered the store through an unlocked back door and demanded the money in the register. The suspect left through the same back door. Arlington and Mansfield officers responded to assist with the search for the suspect. A Mansfield K9 officer tracked the suspect to some apartments on Treepoint Drive but were unable to track any further.
