05/25 - Assault Bodily Injury - 1100 block of N. Little School Road: At 8:00 p.m. a victim reported to an officer that he had been assaulted by an unknown male during a traffic altercation. A witness was able to obtain a license plate of the suspect's vehicle.

05/26 - Criminal Mischief $1,500 to $20,000 - 300 block of W. 3rd Street: At 8:23 a.m. a victim reported to officers that his construction backhoe had been damaged. The backhoe was parked at a construction site. Unknown person(s) damaged the ignition switch and possibly contaminated the oil crankcase. The damage was estimated at $5,000.00

05/26 - Vehicle Burglary - 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 5:10 p.m. a victim reported to police that his wallet was stolen from his vehicle. The victim stated that earlier in the day he had stopped at Sonora Park to use the public restroom. The vehicle was left unlocked and when the victim returned his wallet was missing. No suspect(s) were observed by the victim.

05/26 - Fail to Report Accident - 800 block of Valley Lane: At 7:45 p.m. an officer was notified of a one vehicle accident. The unoccupied vehicle was in the ditch and had struck a street sign valued at $200.00. The operator was not around the vehicle. It was impounded to be held until the operator is located.

05/27 - Sexual Assault - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: An officer was notified by Arlington police that they had taken a report on a sexual assault that had actually occurred in Kennedale on 05/03/2014. The victim, a female, did not report the offense when it occurred out of a sense of fear. The victim has since moved to a location outside of the Metroplex and was not immediately available for a statement. Contact was made with a local agency to take the statement and forward it to Kennedale. The suspect is known to the victim.

05/27 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 1400 block of Swiney Hiett Road: At 6:00 p.m. a victim reported that her debit card number was used to make unauthorized purchases from her bank account. The purchases were made out of state.

05/28 - Traffic Arrest - 5800 block of E. I-20: At 9:49 p.m. an officer responded to a reported gas theft. The suspect was a female who was evasive in answering the officer's questions. The suspect's license was suspended for no insurance and she currently still had no insurance on the vehicle she was operating. The suspect was arrested for the violations and transported to the Mansfield jail. Also found in the suspect's possession were several pieces of identification that were for different persons. The case is still under investigation.

05/28 - Burglary - 700 block of Woodland Court: At 5:16 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had broken out a window of his home and removed two Maltese dogs belonging to his girlfriend. The victim has no idea who committed the offense. The animals were valued at $300.00.

05/29 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:18 p.m. an officer discovered an intoxicated male behind a convenience store. The male was unable to complete a field sobriety assessment and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Mansfield jail.

05/29 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 1200 block of Fawn Meadow Trail: At 9:15 p.m. two victims were at a city park playing basketball. Several males approached them as though they wanted to play. During the contact one of the group removed several items belonging to the victims including cell phones and identification. The property was not located before the suspects departed.

05/30 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 4100 block of Danny Drive: At 8:20 a.m. a resident called to say that a relative of his landlord had left a trailer for storage on the property. He believed the trailer to be stolen. A license plate was located on the trailer confirming that it was stolen out of North Richland Hills. The trailer was impounded to be held for North Richland Hills police.

05/30 - Burglary - 5600 block of E. I-20: At 10:47 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a theft in progress. The officer located two homeless males on bicycles. They were not involved in anything when the officer arrived. It was later determined that the males had removed several large air conditioning coils from a building on some adjacent property.

5/30 - Vehicle Burglary - 600 block of Tower Drive: At 4:02 p.m. a victim reported to police that his vehicle was broken into while parked overnight at his employer's lot. Person(s) unknown broke a window out and removed a number of tools form the vehicle.

05/31 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 600 block of Hilltop Court: At 5:23 p.m. a victim reported to police that three known suspects had come to her home to retrieve some personal property. During their visit, the males also removed several guitars and an amplifier that does not belong to them. The property was valued at $1,800.00.

05/31 - Public Intoxication - 1000 block of Little School Road: At 8:56 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a possible intoxicated person. A male was contacted and was determined to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Mansfield jail.

05/31 - Attempted Kidnapping - 800 block of Whitley Court: AT 9:36 p.m. a 12 year old male victim reported that he was behind the field house at Kennedale high School when two unknown adult males attempted to abduct him. The victim reported that he ran away from the suspects and contacted a resident who was able to get him home. The suspects were driving a green Dodge 4 door pickup truck. The suspects left the scene after the attempted abduction. The case is still under investigation.
