06/15 - Assault by Contact - 6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 12:42 a.m. a victim reported to police that he was assaulted by a known suspect while attending a race event. The suspect approached the victim, made several remarks of a personal nature, and then slapped the victim with an open hand to the face. The suspect left immediately and was not present when officers arrived.
06/15 - DWI - 500 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:40 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for investigation of DWI. The driver had no valid operator's license and spoke little English. The driver smelled of an alcoholic beverage and was unable to successfully perform a field sobriety assessment. He was arrested for DWI and transported to Mansfield for booking.
06/15 - Public Intoxication - 1100 block of N. Little School Road: At 4:56 a.m. officers were dispatched to a report of an auto/pedestrian accident. On arrival officer found a male subject passed out and laying partially in the roadway. The male smelled of alcoholic beverage and was unable to stand without assistance. He exhibited a number of indications of extreme intoxication. The subject lived a few blocks away with a family member. He was taken home to be released to the family member after being issued a citation for Public Intoxication.
06/16 - Abandoned/Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 3:36 p.m. a city employee turned in two rings found at Sonora Park. The rings were found by a Cub Scout during a day camp. The rings were placed in property for safekeeping.
06/17 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 4700 block of Little School Road: At 2:37 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview the male driver was found to be in possession of a baggie of methamphetamine and a Hydrocodone pill. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Mansfield for booking.
06/19 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 300 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:15 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violation. During the interview with male driver it was determined that he was in possession of a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The driver was arrested and transported to Mansfield for booking.
06/19 - Burglary - 4000 block of S. Eden Road: At 5:18 a.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary. Person(s) unknown cut through the roof of a business to enter the office area. The suspect(s) were able to make entry into a safe to remove cash. Security video captured images of the burglary suspects.
