07/13 - Reckless Damage - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 2:10 a.m. a victim reported that his Chevy truck and his boat/trailer were parked side by side in parking spaces. A passing driver struck the truck and the boat, driving into Arlington and damaging more property in the process. The driver, a female, was arrested for DWI and reckless damage.

07/13 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 3:05 a.m. an officer responded to a report of an 18 year old male cutting his wrist. The male had been arguing with his girlfriend and became depressed. He stated that he wanted to commit suicide. After being treated by paramedics, the male was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation.

07/13 - Burglary - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 7:04 p.m. a victim reported to police that her home was burglarized while she was away on vacation. The victim stated that she came home to find the front door unlocked and the house in disarray. Person(s) unknown entered the home and removed a number of items including a mattress and box springs, electronics, and a headboard for the bed. The victim was able to list a suspect in the offense.

07/16 - Vehicle Theft - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:15 p.m. a victim reported that a trailer had been stolen from his business. The trailer is used as a rental for the victim's customers. No suspects were listed.

07/16 - Criminal Mischief $500 to $1,500 - 600 block of Winterwood Drive: At 4:08 p.m. a victim reported to police that his brick mailbox was knocked over and broken while he was at work. The mailbox was valued at $700.00.

07/16 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 300 block of New Hope Road: At 9:01 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival officers discovered a male holding another male in submission. After separating the males, it was determined that one of the males has a history of schizophrenic behavior and had become aggitated while at church with his family. They returned home where the male continued his aggressive behavior and attempted to strike the male family member that had subdued him. The male was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention.

07/17 - DWI - 5000 block of Sublett Road: At 1:20 a.m. officers responded to a call of an intoxicated driver on Pennsylvania Avenue. Officers caught up to the suspect and reporting witness vehicles as the suspect turned south onto the U.S. 287 access road from Little School Road. The vehicle was stopped at Sublett Road and U.S. 287 after officers observed the erratic driving of the suspect. The suspect smelled of alcoholic beverage, was unable to stand without support, and would not cooperate in completing a field sobriety assessment. The suspect was arrested and a warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The suspect was booked into the Mansfield jail and the blood was drawn by the on-duty medical staff.

07/17 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 1000 block of Falcon Creek Drive: At 9:24 a.m. a victim reported the theft of rebar from his home construction site. The victim had video footage of the suspect and the theft. Officers recognized the suspect and vehicle, and were able to locate a local metal recycler where the suspect sold the stolen rebar. A warrant will be issued.

07/18 - Vehicle Theft - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 5:15 p.m. a complainant called to report that her mother's vehicle, a 2012 Honda Civic, had been stolen while her mother was out of town. The vehicle had been left at a separate location from the complainant's home. The complainant received a call from the Parker County Sheriff's Office that the vehicle had been recovered out of a lake. The complainant was unaware that the vehicle had been stolen. She reported it to the insurance company, which told her to make a police report.
