08/17 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 1:05 a.m. a vehicle was topped for a traffic violation. The officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. During the interview and subsequent search, narcotics paraphernalia was located. A male passenger in the vehicle admitted that the paraphernalia was his and he was cited.
08/18 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 11:07 a.m. a male entered the T-Mobile store and asked about Bluetooth headsets. Once located, the male took three of the sets and left in a white Infiniti. A customer obtained the license number of the vehicle for later location.
08/18 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 700 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 3:59 p.m. a victim reported to police that he had a 1994 Oldsmobile and two boat trailers stolen. The items were located in the back yard of a rental property that the victim owns. The items were valued at $3,800.00.
08/20 - Fail to Identify (Fugitive) - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:20 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, a 27 year old male, verbally identified himself and stated that he had no identification or driver's license. During the interview with the driver and his 24 year old male passenger, it was determined that the driver had given fictitious identification information in an attempt to avoid being arrested for a Tarrant County warrant for methamphetamine possession. He was arrested and booked on the warrant and the fail to identify (fugitive) charge.
