09/07 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:05 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. The business manager advised that a customer had gotten into an argument with anther patron who was possibly intoxicated. Officers located the intoxicated person, a 50 year old male, on a sidewalk outside of the business. The male was extremely intoxicated and unable to give officers a coherent story of what happened. He was combative toward officers and was taken into custody for public intoxication. He was transported to the Mansfield jail for booking.
09/08 - Burglary - 7000 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:20 a.m. an officer received a report of a burglary. Person(s) unknown entered the business, an auto salvage yard, and removed car batteries, tools, and a battery charger.
09/08 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:56 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an intoxicated person. On arrival, the officer met with a Forest Hill officer who had a male detained in handcuffs. The Forest Hill officer had stopped at the business and observed the male inside being verbally abusive to customers. The male was the same person who had been arrested for being intoxicated in public on 09/07/2014. The male was again intoxicated and was transported to the Mansfield jail for booking.
09/09 - Theft $50 to $500 - 300 block of Lone Oak Court: At 9:26 a.m. an officer received a report of the theft of construction materials. The items were removed by person(s) unknown over the previous weekend.
09/09 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 4:51 p.m. an officer received a report of the misuse of company gas cards. The company owner reported that three of his gas cards had been stolen and used without his consent. The complainant did name a suspect, a 23 year old female, and stated that the female is a relative of one of his employees. The suspect did have access to the area where the cards were stored.
09/10 - Theft $50 to $500 - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 9:28 a.m. an officer received a report of a stolen cell phone from the high school. The phone was stolen while left on a charge in an office area. The phone was tracked by the owner to a residence in Kennedale, where the phone was recovered but was damaged beyond repair. The parent of the suspect agreed to pay damages and the victim declined prosecution.
09/12 - Theft Under $50 - 700 block of Woodland Court: At 8:55 p.m. an officer received a report of the theft of water. The victim reported that a neighbor had been stealing water from her outside faucet by filling up jugs and taking them to another residence. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect as well as the residence address.
09/12 - Assault by Contact - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 9:29 p.m. officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim, a female, stated that her live-in boyfriend had assaulted her by forcibly preventing her from leaving their apartment during an argument. The boyfriend was allegedly not at the apartment when the officers arrived but they spoke to him by phone. The victim refused to fill out a written statement and would not provide information for charges to be filed.
