09/14 - Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon - 6900 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 2:03 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. A victim reported that he had been threatened by a neighbor. The victim awoke when something banged against the outside of his home. He stepped out to investigate and observed his neighbor outside. The neighbor approached the victim while threatening to harm him with a screwdriver he was carrying. The victim retreated into his home and contacted police. The suspect was arrested for the assault and for outstanding warrants from Arlington.

09/17 - Found Property - 100 block of Village Street: At 9:23 a.m. a city employee brought a bicycle to the police department. The bike had been abandoned in a city park. It was secured for hold until an owner can be located.

09/17 - Arson - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 11:00 a.m. officers responded to assist the fire department on an arson. A trash can had been intentionally set on fire in a bathroom. The fire was extinguished before any damage occurred to the building. The case is under investigation.

09/18 - Burglary - 500 block of Little School Road: At 4:02 p.m. a victim reported that her late father's home had been burglarized. Person(s) unknown entered the home and removed a camera valued at $150.00.

09/18 - Burglary - 300 block of Bolin Road: At 12:15 p.m. a victim reported to police that his storage facility had been illegally entered. The burglary occurred the week before when person(s) unknown entered a neighboring space and then broke through the wall into the victim's space. Personal property valued at several hundred dollars was removed.

09/19 - Assault by Contact - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 12:49 p.m. an officer received a CPS report of an outcry made by a 14 year old female. The victim reported that she had been inappropriately touched by her 31 year old step-father while she was asleep. The case is under investigation.

09/20 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:15 a.m. an officer was asked to check for a male passed out in the restroom of a convenience store. The male was asleep in a stall with the door locked. After opening the stall and waking the male up, it was determined he was intoxicated. The male's wife responded to take custody after he was issued a citation for public intoxication. During this incident a patron reported a fight outside of the store. The officer located two adult males who were fighting in public. The males were separated and issued citations for disorderly conduct. They were released and left the area.

09/20 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:47 a.m. a victim reported that a male employee had left the company premises the day before driving a vehicle that he was not authorized to have. The employee could not be contacted and it was unknown where he took the vehicle.

09/20 - Criminal Mischief - $500 to $1,500 - 300 block of Mt. Pleasant Court: At 9:30 a.m. an officer took a report of damage to a home under construction. Person(s) unknown entered the home and broke several windows plus a stair railing. Damage was estimated at $1,200.00.

09/20 - DWI - 6800 block of I-20 East Service Road: At 8:45 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver of the vehicle smelled of alcoholic beverage but stated that he had not been drinking. The driver was asked to step from the vehicle and was administered a sobriety assessment. He was unable to successfully complete the assessment and was arrested for DWI. A warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The suspect was booked into the Mansfield jail after the blood sample was obtained by medical personnel.
