09/28 - Vehicle Burglary - 700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:40 p.m. a victim reported to police that the tailgate was stolen off of his 2000 Dodge truck. The gate was valued at $135.00 and was taken overnight while the vehicle was in his driveway.

09/30 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 700 block of Woodlea Lane: At 8:58 a.m. a victim reported to police that a lawnmower was taken from the back yard of the residence. The mower was valued at $300.00 and was not secured.

09/30 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:19 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an intoxicated person. A Fort Worth officer had been flagged down by a citizen and advised of a male walking in and out of traffic on the access road. The Fort Worth officer moved the male out of traffic to await Kennedale officers arrival. The male was belligerent and obviously under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to the Mansfield jail.

10/03 - Burglary - 1400 block of Peggy Lane: At 7:03 a.m. a complainant reported to police that person(s) unknown had entered his room overnight and poured an unknown liquid on his person. Entry was supposedly through a window that was locked and sealed up. The liquid had reportedly caused a rash. Further investigation turned up information that the complainant had received treatment for the rash from a doctor several weeks earlier than the reported break-in. The complainant stated that a similar offense had occurred in Austin. A call to Austin police revealed that no evidence existed to indicate an offense had occurred. A call to a friend of the complainant provided information that he may be suffering from a mental illness. The report was unfounded.

10/03 - Vehicle Burglary - 300 block of Autumnwood Court: At 2:40 p.m. an officer received a report of a vehicle burglary. Person(s) unknown entered the vehicle during the overnight hours and removed a backpack. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home and was not locked.

10/03 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 1000 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:18 p.m. an officer responded to a theft report at an auto salvage business. The owner reported that a male had entered the location to purchase a bed for his truck. After attaching the bed to the truck the male drove away from the business without paying. The theft was captured on video. Later that evening the vehicle was stopped in Everman and Kennedale officers responded. The driver/suspect stated that he paid for the bed but had left his receipt at home. After interviewing the suspect it was determined that the bed would be removed for impound. A property hearing will be set to determine ownership of the bed. Charges are pending.

10/04 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 11:50 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Person(s) unknown removed a catalytic convertor from a 2009 Dodge truck. It was valued at $600.00.

10/04 - Hit and Run Accident - 6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road: At 7:02 p.m. an officer received a report of a hit and run accident. Several witnesses observed a truck being operated at high speed through a parking area. The truck struck at least three different vehicles, causing several hundred dollars in damage.
